Chapter 91 - || CHAPTER 91:Lucan, The Connecting Dot ||

The space station agreed as all of them split into two groups; one was led by Azican and another by Freol.

Freol said, "I will go after Lucan. You go after those two, Gerin! Don't play around. It's not an order; it's a warning!"

Freol flew off on his own as he left.

Gerin frowned, "Cocky bastard. If only... you fought me in hand-to-hand combat, I would thrash you up like a rag doll."

Azican laughed as he said, "Lucan, huh? Hehe, this group is much more interesting than yours. Bye-bye."

He left in a spaceship along with their group.

There were eight in total; four of them were now moving towards Lucan and the King.

Meanwhile, Lord was still roaming around the null planet.

He stroked his chin as he said, "So I did kill all of them? Hehe, maybe I should have held back! Now what to do? I'm so bored.

Fight Lucan! Yes, our fight has been pending ever since then. He must have become stronger by now! Alright, let's go and meet him."

Lord tried to leave the planet, but then he stopped, realizing, "Where is Lucan, though? Where did I last see him... hmm, okay, let me just deduce it!"

Lord sat down as his hands waved in the air, forming strange signs. Cosmic energy circulated around his body like a fluid.

It suddenly burst off as Lord's deductions failed.

Lord frowned, "Where might that kid be? If he is within this solar system, he should have been deduced by me.

So he left it already... hahaha! Impossible, if he could, he would only be after me! So he is lurking somewhere, huh?

Lucan... I'm coming to fight you. Don't disappoint me by losing so fast! Of course, you will lose no matter what.

But don't lose too fast; I need some entertainment to suffice my boredom!"

Lord laughed as he flew off the planet.

In the mysterious place, Lucan and the Fate guy were gazing at each other.

The Fate guy asked, "So you found out about this place through that device? And not through my memories?"

Lucan grinned as he froze time. He instantly used his cosmic energy on himself as he made himself forget about the memories he saw through the Fate guy.

He laughed, "I have already marked them on the map in my spaceship! So it doesn't matter to me either way.

I have to put on a mask of innocence! Because if the Fate guy knows the truth, he will realize that I have saved him all this time just for my own benefit.

Hehe, from my childhood, I have never had or wanted to have friends! Unless they are useful to me, but... the race I was born into had some feelings.

Which affects me, which makes me emotional! But I want to be cold and logical, as reaching my goal is the only priority in my life! Hehe.

Wait... what was I thinking about again? Huh?"

Time resumed the exact moment as Lucan replied subconsciously; it was as if his mind repeatedly spoke, "Say yes! Say yes!..."

Lucan grinned, "Yes."

The Fate guy nodded as he smiled, "I knew I could believe you, haha! Lucan, why would my friend betray me?"

But his childhood friend wasn't satisfied.

He said, "Master, I would like to verify it myself."

The Fate guy frowned as he hit him, "You don't trust Lucan? You know he was the one who saved my life multiple times.

He even saved me from Lord when he was powerless! He didn't abandon me when I crashed the spaceship into the star.

Letting the crew die, he... forgiven me and did everything for me, but how could you..."

Lucan walked over as he said, "It's alright, let him do it. If this will increase our trust, I will wholeheartedly agree.

Not because I want to prove it! But because I don't want to waste any more of my precious time!"

This was the truth; Lucan really didn't want to waste his time here, although it looked worth researching.

His heart aching for it, his mind mutters, "Find the end of space and walk beyond it! Any other things are materialistic.

I know it is painful to be cold and rational, but... in the end, that's how we must live if we want to reach our goals."

Lucan gently smiled as he walked over and got himself checked thoroughly.

He asked, "You say you are his childhood friend, yet you call him master, and don't you have a name?

Fate guy, I don't feel like trusting him!"

The Fate guy asked, "Yeah, why the heck are you calling me master? Can't you call me bro like Lucan? It's Earth culture."

After verifying Lucan, he said, "Hmm, this person seems to be innocent! I apologize for my rash behavior!"

Lucan waved his hands, "I don't care, just do one favor: show me a suitable environment for these guys to live."

The childhood friend said, "Earth culture? What is Earth? Oh, and master, on our planet, we call our friends masters.

You too used to call me that. You forgot everything after you left, huh? And my name is...."

Lucan sighed, "From what I have observed, you don't have an English name. Your name cannot be pronounced through our language, huh?"

The Fate guy nodded, "Yeah, I do understand this language a bit. Maybe I am really the last survivor, hahaha!"

Lucan frowned as he thought, "Wait... I don't remember anything, but my intuition says not to let the Fate guy remember this!

...

I feel so lost. What happened? How did I know about this place?

...

Oh! I get it! From my calculations, there are two theories: one is that I actually erased my memories.

Another is somebody else erased them! Yes, but the first one seems more logical in this situation!"

Lucan replied, "Okay, so do you have a place?"

The childhood friend said, "Of course, let me take you all there... wait! Homes for whom did you say?"

Lucan replied casually, "Golden Butterflies! Is something wrong? And I will call you Child guy! Hehe."

Child guy sighed, "What the hell, Child guy? Fate guy? Do you put 'guy' and call all aliens this way?"

Lucan replied, "It's pointless to answer any of your questions, as answering them is not worth my time.

Will you show me or not?"

Child guy frowned, "You think you own this place? Kid! Stop getting cocky! Hmph! You must be a C-tier species, right?"

Lucan grinned, "Yes, I am."

Child guy replied, "What! You are C-tier! I just... joked... are you playing with me? How in the hell can a C-tier species come this far and lead my master!"

Lucan started to walk away along with the golden butterflies, as he had enough of that yapping.

The Fate guy said, "That kid is a human, but he is also an incomplete psycho! Just don't mess with him and we will have a smooth journey."

Child guy nodded, "If master says so! Why are you not calling me master? Our custom!"

The Fate guy shook his head, "Bro is better. I will call ya bro! You do the same!"

Child guy said, "Bru! Did I say it right?"

The Fate guy sighed, "It's not bru, it's bro! B-R-O! Got it now?"

Child guy snorted, "Haha, easy! I got this one, bru! Hehe, I did it!"

The Fate guy thought, "Maybe Lucan was right to leave. I would rather follow an incomplete psycho than a dumb rock friend!"

Far away in space, the Organization.

Lots of crystals were showcased in a huge barn. The crystals were of different colors, representing different feelings.

A black figure with red eyes saw them all and smirked, "Almost all the crystals in our solar system are collected! Now only Life, Death, Betrayal, Love, Fate, and a few others remain!

These four are... too strong for them. I must go and capture these four myself! Huh, the Love Crystal is now in a human form.

Which is what worries me! The universal beings... they despise the human race and humanity! Lucan is the savior of humanity.

Every single human-related species will be killed just as the King's race was, so I can't bear the Love Crystal. Sigh. Fate... I have never ever seen it, not even in images.

It's the most mysterious crystal ever, but... hehe, what power does it possess? I am eager to find out."
