It was a simple mission , The Silentium told us to capture a remnant , Yoisaki Kanade from the world of Project : Sekai. It was supposed to be an easy mission , one where we'd finish it all and take the day off.
An anomaly one could say , coming from a world with no powers , yet having the ability to subdue anybody. Who wouldn't covet such an anomaly? The potentials such a remnant could bring…

[Strike Force do you copy?] a voice crackled to our visors , it was our supervisor.
"This is team ███ , in position" A male voice could be heard , sounding confident
There were 8 of us , equipped with some of the most high-tech equipment possible , invisibility , absolute silence , this was going to be a breeze.
"I bet this mission gonna be easy as hell" a female voice could be heard , it sounded mature with a certain allure , yet stern , her red hair tied in a pony tail, her body as stiff as a human could possibly be. as if trained to do this for a very long time.
"Entering now" I said in a whisper , we then entered what seemed to be a modest family house , as our visors scanned our surroundings , we could see them. The parents sleeping soundly in their bedroom , a child? One that resembled Beatrice from Re: Zero , asleep.
"Target on the west side." Another male voice could be heard , sounding youthful , there she was through our visors , Yoisaki Kanade. The anomaly in a world filled with remnants.
███ moved silently , as our gear hid all forms of sound making sure no conventional form of detection was possible , our hacker had already hacked the entire security system , ensuring absolute secrecy.
"Hummmm~ Hum~ Hum~ " a humming sound could be heard coming from the room. There she was Yoisaki Kanade on her PC , composing what seems to be another melody.
I looked at ███ as she looked at me back , her fingers counting down from 3 , 2.. 1-
Swish—
███ a tiny object was thrown , this was one of the most potent sleeping gasses , one that could even affect the likes of Goku. At least that was what we were told.
"Hmm?" She tilted her head slightly , confused , yet nothing seemed off , she then continued humming for a while before-
Pshhhh—
The sound of the gas could be heard leaking in her room , yet she was still there humming. It wouldn't take long now… She just needs to inhale it once , and to sleep she goes.
"Nnn-?" A small voice could be heard before a small thud could be heard , it was obviously a success. As we slowly entered her room , there she was unconscious laying in her chair.

"I" woke up , even though "I" didn't need any sleep. My family kept on nagging me. I finally relented after Kanade encouraged me. "I" realized how it felt rather natural this time.
As I stood up something felt amiss. Yet "I" couldn't really seem to figure out what was amiss… Mom and Dad were still asleep , I shouldn't wake grandma up as well… "I" thought to myself.
"Kiana." The voice of Klein Moretti echoed in my ears, different. He was usually calmed and rather apathetic. But now? His voice gave a sense of urgency that seemed to never happen before.
"What?" "I" said as I looked at him. 180cm with black hair and dark brown eyes , merely a facade. His true form looked like a vast ocean that seemed to spiral in an unending vortex.
"Kanade." He only muttered a single word. And "I" noticed the reason for my bad feeling. "I" couldn't feel Kanade's presence nearby. This was something that could never happen.
Crack—
"I" dropped the glass I was holding. As it fell to the floor and shattered , perhaps "I" woke my family up by accident. But at that moment "I" could not think of anything else.
"Kiana-? Why did you do that?" Alena muttered as she rubbed her red eyes , those Sarkaz horns and long white hair , behind her Aldric was there. His amber eyes looked at me questioning my actions.
"I" wanted to speak , yet "I" felt my throat tightening , as if "I" couldn't speak , as if "I" lost the ability to speak. Alena's eyes changed from curiosity to concern. I wondered. Why?
"Your eyes. Their flickering" She said with concern , her voice sounding rather fearful. Just like back then. Dad's eyes were now also wary , his intuition seems to be telling him something.
He runs to Kanade's room and breaks the door by accident. She wasn't there. Her PC was still on yet she wasn't there. Why? WhY? WHy? ⏙ℍ⍦? "I" thought to myself at that moment.
"Klein." Alena looked at him with a similar look of concern. The grey fog of Sefirah castle seemed to manifest uncontrollably as his form began to lose shape. Ah… I see. Perhaps at this moment. We felt the same thing.
"Klein." "I" said , my eyes that were flickering now looked at "Him" . As the symbol of the Cocoon of Finality appeared in my eyes. Looking deep into "His" soul.
Recognition followed.
Klein didn't say much , but the trembling stopped. His form returned to normal . At that moment "His" eyes changed , it was as if he was searching. Searching for something we wanted.
"Found it" "He" said , "His" voice , emotionless at that moment , Alena and Aldric didn't say much as they looked into us , a door manifested in front of us as it opened. No words were needed.
For at that moment perhaps it was the first time. The Pillar of Conclusion and The Pillar of Deviation moved. Alena and Aldric didn't stop them , for they knew a simple fact. There was no stopping them once they moved.

"We did it, Chief Morrison!!!" A young researcher's enthusiastic voice could be heard. It was a celebration , a full on celebration , the entire team was celebrating , they had finally received it. An anomaly in this world filled with Remnants.
"Indeed. This was because of our team effort" Chief Morrison's aged voice resounded across the place. One could see how many researchers were celebrating this moment.
BZZT—
All of a sudden the lights turned off , absolute darkness , yet no one panicked , they were after all professionals , then again , such a place could suddenly have a power outage?
"That's weird… the emergency power supply should've worked instantly." Chief Morrison mumbled , this was an impossible occurrence normally. Normally…
Everyone should've noticed something amiss.
Yet at that very moment. It was as if everyone had their intelligence forcefully lowered. They're thoughts sluggish , all of a sudden an illusory door manifested in front of them.
As it opened , grey fog seemed to seep in , engulfing the entire room , 2 figures could be seen appearing from it , they looked rather unremarkable , One was approximately a 180cm male.
With a lean and scholarly build , his features rather obscure , one could only see his brown eyes that looked as if he hadn't slept in days. The other , a female approximately 160cm in height , her eyes blue with long white hair.
It was a common sight in this world. One where fiction bleed to reality, wearing what seemed to be an oversized hoodie , her posture slouched back , yet her eyes seemed to scan everything.
The researchers didn't panic , or rather they couldn't. At that moment. It was as if they were fooled. That everything was running normally , an ancient voice reverbed in their psyche
"Where is Yoisaki Kanade?" the ancient voice questioned its voice flat with no emotions , at the same time the countless researchers including Chief Morrison said in unison.
"Section ██████ , Containment Unit ███" Their voices sounded off , as if they were dozing off , at that moment the male figure took his hat off and bowed with an exaggerated smile.
"Thank you" he said , as the 2 figures left through the same door once more , as they left everything seemed to return to normal , nothing felt amiss. It was only 3 days later when Yoisaki Kanade was found missing.
It was later found out that during an unknown period of time, every security camera seemed to malfunction , as if they had an error in that exact moment. There was no proof that they ever captured Yoisaki Kanade.

"Hm~" a young female voice could be heard , she was small and petite , her light blue eyes seemed to turn golden for a second , wearing what seemed to be a robe of a certain priestess.
"This just got even more interesting~" She said, her voice rather melodious and filled with fascination. She was the Pillar of Continuation. Violet from "Why Am I a Priestess at Max Level?"

"Hoh~" Herta muttered , wearing her signature outfit from the game Honkai Star Rail , her purple eyes shone brightly as she fell into contemplation before looking in front of her.
"You felt it too?" a female , her silver white hair cascaded neatly past her shoulders , her crimson eyes shone brightly. She was Dorothy , Dorothea Mayschoss from the world of "Dorothy's Forbidden Grimoire"
The other members of Herta's Society didn't even look at them , each lost in their own thoughts , perhaps cooking their own theories that we , normal humans wouldn't be able to comprehend.

"Ano… Guys…" Kanade's voice filled with confusion and worry , beside her were Kiana and Klein , not leaving her any personal space , for your information it had been 2 weeks since her kidnapping.
And they're still just there , sitting in her bed unmoving , it has reached a point where Alena and Kim had to bring some food in her room for those 2 to even eat. They wouldn't leave her
They followed her everywhere , as she ate , as she slept , as she composed , as she… Uhm, let's not talk about everything. It would be a disgrace and embarrassment for everybody.
"Sorry." Kiana said her voice sounded genuinely guilty , I mean who wouldn't be? Imagine yourself as Kanade at this moment , for 2 weeks your every move is monitored non stop.
"..." Klein maintained his silence , his decision a mystery , what was obvious is the fact that this gentleman's choice was set in stone , nothing could probably change his thoughts right?
"Thank you…" She said her voice soft , though it is rather excessive one could say but think of it this way , One is a God whose humanity is slowly being healed , the other? Also a God
Living like ordinary humans once more , in this world where Fiction bleeds to Reality , this family has been living a rather plain and ordinary life , at least those in the house
This continued for a while until Kanade catched a cold… Klein and Kiana were scolded by Alena as she blamed them for making her sick , they could only repent and compromise.
What was the compromise you ask? Oh simple actually , instead of staying near Kanade all the time , the entire building was changed , perhaps enhanced? But how would you know? You've been fooled after all.
