Sarah was sitting in the park, completely lost in her thoughts, wondering where she should go now. The only place she had was Ryan's, and now even that was no longer an option. She had no job either, nothing to rely on for earning.
Her parents had passed away when she was just a child. After that, she was raised in an orphanage. Later, during her college days, she stayed in a PG, and that was when she met Ryan and eventually started living with him.
But now, everything was gone. She had nowhere to go — no home, no support, no direction.
On the other side, in the hospital, Dr. Kevin was slowly regaining consciousness. The only name on his lips, the one he kept murmuring again and again, was "Sarah… Sarah…"
His mind and heart were completely filled with her. The memories they had created just a day ago kept replaying in his mind like a loop.
Slowly, Dr. Kevin opened his eyes.
He looked around, but Sarah was nowhere to be seen.
A wave of restlessness and anxiety took over him.
"Where is Sarah? I want to see Sarah," he said, his voice filled with urgency.
Kevin's mother replied coldly, "I have removed that girl from both this hospital and your life."
Hearing this, something inside Dr. Kevin snapped. For the first time, he lost his calm completely.
The hospital staff were stunned. They had never seen him like this before. He was always composed and gentle, but today, he was unrecognizable.
In a surge of anger, Dr. Kevin started pulling out the tubes and wires attached to his body, completely ignoring the pain.
"I will find my Sarah and bring her back," he said firmly.
He tried to get off the bed, even though his body was still weak and unstable. He could barely stand properly.
The staff rushed to stop him, but in his rage, he pushed everyone aside.
Among them was a doctor who had once been trained by Dr. Kevin himself. He understood how to handle the situation.
He calmly walked up to Kevin, looked straight into his eyes, and said, "You want to go to Sarah, right? I will come with you. We will find her together."
While speaking gently, he administered an injection.
Within moments, Dr. Kevin's strength faded, and he slowly lost consciousness, slipping into a deep sleep.
He was then carefully taken back to his room.
The doctor then explained everything to Kevin's mother.
"For now, I have managed to calm him down," he said, "but when he wakes up again, he will behave the same way. Next time, it may not be possible to control him. It would be better if you call Sarah here once he is stable."
Hearing this, Kevin's mother grew anxious.
She immediately told Emma, "Call Sarah and ask her to come here right away."
On the other side, it was night, and Sarah had fallen asleep on a bench in the park.
Suddenly, her phone started ringing.
She woke up with a slight jerk and saw Emma's name flashing on the screen.
She answered the call.
Emma asked her to come to the hospital.
But Sarah refused. She remembered Kevin's mother's harsh words, telling her never to come back. She didn't want to go against her.
With a heavy heart, she said no.
At that moment, Kevin's mother took the phone from Emma and said, "Listen, Sarah. I do not like you, and I do not even want to see your face. But right now, I am helpless. My son has lost his senses because of you. He is searching for you like a mad person all over the hospital. If you do not come today, I might lose my son forever. I am requesting you… please come."
Hearing this, Sarah's heart softened instantly.
Her eyes filled with tears.
In a soft voice, she said, "Aunty, please don't say things like this. You don't need to request me. Dr. Kevin has done so much for me. For him, I will definitely come. Please don't worry."
Hearing this, Kevin's mother finally felt a little relieved.
On the other side, Ryan, filled with rage, went straight to the goons.
He shouted at them, "How is Kevin still alive? You told me you would finish him. I paid you everything you asked for. Then why is he still breathing?"
The goons, frightened and trembling, replied, "Sir, everything was going according to plan. We were beating him, but suddenly a girl came out of nowhere. She fought us, overpowered us, and saved him."
Hearing this, Ryan grabbed one of them by the collar and yelled, "Which girl? Who are you talking about?"
A suspicion crossed his mind.
He showed them Sarah's photo.
The goons immediately recognized her.
"Yes sir, this is the same girl. She beat us badly and forced us to run away. She saved that man."
Hearing this, Ryan's anger exploded.
It felt as if his blood was boiling.
He started beating the goons in fury.
In a loud, furious voice, he shouted,
"Sarah is mine. I will not let her belong to anyone else… no matter what it takes."
