zzzZZZZAAAAAAPPPP!!!
Rin sends out a lightning bolt towards Kazu and he quickly deflects it with his katana; however, Rin zips in front of him and throws a devastating punch at Kazu's gut, sending him flying into the outer border and into a building on the other side.
"C'mon, Kazu-kun… DON'T MAKE THIS BORING FOR ME!!!" Rin exclaimed.
Kazu winces at the pain. Before he could even ask Shaba about anything, Rin bursts right in front of him and grabs him by the collar.
"Don't go soft on me now… I'm just getting started!" Rin says with a maniacal smile.
Kazu grunts, and he grabs one of his guns and attempts to shoot at Rin.
BANG!
BANG!
BANG!
Unfortunately, there was one problem. Rin keeps converting his body into electricity, making him completely bulletproof.
"Did you really think a dumb ass gun was enough to take me out? You're not doing so well, Kazu-kun!"
Rin chucks Kazu into a bunch of office desks, then throws a punch to his face, making him fly into the next room.
"Shaba… I can't fight against him…" Kazu mutters.
Shaba tries to think of something, but he realizes that the situation is even worse for him than for Kazu.
"I'm sorry Kazu, but he found out about your secret. I don't know how, but we need to flee." Shaba calculated.
Kazu nods and gets up and he takes out his katana.
He then hears slow footsteps, alongside electricity crackling.
"Kazu-kuuun~ Come out to playyyy~" Rin says in a singsong voice.
As soon as Rin turns the corner, Kazu suddenly slashes at him, but Rin weaves it perfectly.
Before Rin could say anything, Kazu takes out one of his pistols and shoots at a sprinkler.
"Did you seriously try to shoot me again? You don't seem to learn your lesson…" Rin grumbled.
One thing he didn't notice was that this was all a part of Kazu's plan.
"I know… I missed on purpose."
Crackle…
Tsss…
KABOOOOM!!!
The water fused with Rin's electricity and the electronics in the room created an explosion, knocking Kazu out of the window. Luckily for Kazu, his half-cursed side grants him incredible durability to tank the blast.
"Good thinking, Kazu. That should've left him stunned enough for us to get away." Shaba spoke up.
However, their victory didn't last long as the entire floor of that building began collapsing and rubble began falling.
"Damn, we need to get out of here."
As Kazu planned to flee the area, Rin suddenly burst out of the collapsing building and unsheathed his own special katana.
"You play dirty… That was a dick move." Rin said in a serious tone.
He imbues his katana with raw holy energy, and it suddenly shatters into tiny pieces before electricity reconstructs it. Now he has turned it into a retractable whip sword.
He starts slashing at Kazu, but Kazu deflects Rin's attacks.
Rin then tries to get close and throw a lightning punch at Kazu again; however, Kazu dodges it and kicks Rin away a few feet.
"Not bad, Mr. Hidemi. You're reading my attacks now… Meaning I have to pick up the pace!" Rin declares.
He zips away, then begins teleporting all over the place, creating afterimages.
"He might be fast, but I can still sense his holy energy. If I time it right, I might have a chance to counterstrike." Kazu thought to himself.
He readies his katana, and after about three seconds, Rin lunges at him with a lightning strike. Kazu parries it, but the impact of the attack was so strong that it actually shattered Kazu's katana in half and sent him flying into a parking garage.
Kazu lets out a low grunt at the impact as he slowly gets up from the ground.
Before he could think about anything, Rin teleports in front of him and slashes at Kazu. He dodges out of the way and he throws a jab at Rin's face, which actually connects.
Rin however gets even more excited and he roundhouse kicks Kazu into a nearby car and follows up with a sword slash. Kazu catches the blade in his hands, but it causes some blood to be drawn.
Rin then knees Kazu in the ribs and punches him to the ground, but Kazu recovers quickly and kicks Rin in the chest, sending him flying back.
"Why do you want to kill me so bad? I know I'm a cursed human, but I actually help people." Kazu said quietly, trying to catch his breath.
Rin tilts his head and adjusts his glasses, "I'm not doing it for the executioner role…"
Rin leans closer, grinning disturbingly,
"I'm doing it for the fun of it! I finally have a competent opponent worthy of fighting, so please don't try to run from me."
Kazu quivers slightly, getting in a defensive stance.
"C'mon now, use that cursed side of yours so I can get a thrill out of it!" Rin said while spinning his katana.
Kazu hesitates for a moment. He knows that he shouldn't attack Rin in his cursed state because it would be highly likely that an alert would go off in the E.S.C. about a powerful curse fighting The Holy Headsman.
"I can only hold it for 30 seconds so you might be a bit let down…" Kazu said warily.
Rin shrugs, still keeping his pumped attitude. "Don't worry about it, I'll still have my fun."
Kazu sighs before nodding, pulling on the blindfold on his face.
"You asked for this..."
