Tasha didn't make her second move immediately.
That would have been too obvious.

By morning, she was already in the servants' quarters, sitting quietly while two maids whispered nearby. She didn't join their conversation at first—she listened.
"…I'm telling you, something changed in that room," one of them said.
"I heard the Alpha didn't leave her side all night," the other added.

She leaned forward slightly, her tone soft.
"Who are you talking about?"
