High in the heavens, the gods gathered around the great dining table. The air was thick with tension.
" my Lord, with all due respect, we cannot allow this to proceed any longer," Zeus said, his voice echoing through the hall. "We have to do something fast about Fukijiro."
"I agree with Zeus," another voice added. "We have to take action fast to avoid what might come."
"Same on this side," the God of Lightning chimed in.
The God of Thunder nodded solemnly. "I agree on this side, too!"- They all discuss among themselves..
"Silence!" God commanded. The entire room went quiet instantly. "I agree with what you all are saying. But as you can see, our hands are tied. Have you all forgotten what happened to Hiroshima and Nagasaki when we interfered with the affairs of the humans?"
"Yes," Zeus countered, "but we can't classify this as a human matter when Fukijiro is involved, my Lord."
God's expression remained firm. "My decision is final. We will not interfere."
The room immediately erupted into a cacophony of protests and noise. Amidst the shouting, Athena stepped forward.
"My Lord, I have a suggestion," she said.
The room fell still once more as the gods turned to listen.
"I believe we all remember the incident that happened in Tokyo fifty-five years ago with Fukijiro," Athena reminded them.
"How could we not remember?" the God of Thunder muttered. "It was a bloodbath."
He paused, a look of realization dawning on his face. "Wait... don't tell me..."
God looked at her, his eyes narrowing. "I get it now. You want us to send divine warriors, or am I mistaken?"
Athena gave a slow, dark smile. "Yes. You are on point, my Lord. It worked in the battle fifty-five years ago; why not do it again?"
"My Lord, I say we do it," Zeus urged. "Besides, fifty-five years ago there were amazing warriors. I don't see why there wouldn't be now."
God leaned back, a small smile finally breaking across his face. "Fine. I won't give it much thought. It is, without a doubt, a great plan. I gotta say, Fukijiro has a lot of nerve to challenge me, so why not answer him in the same way? I'll leave the rest to my advisors."
"Yes, my Lord," Athena replied.
"Understood," said Zeus.
"Let's begin preparations for the battle," Athena declared.
"That is good," God said. "Also... one last thing. I'd like to pick the—"
He leaned in and whispered something, his voice dropping so low it was lost to the wind.
Athena nodded gravely. "I understand."
Back on Earth
Inside Tadore's car, the hum of the engine filled the silence until Tadore spoke up.
"Saku. Hey, Sakuro."
Sakuro blinked, snapping out of a trance. "Yeah, dad?"
"What are you thinking of?"
"Nothing that important," Sakuro replied, looking out the window.
"So," Tadore said, "have you decided where you want to go?"
"Let's go to the amusement park!" Sakuro said, his face lighting up with joy.
Tadore chuckled. "As if. If we go, we'll just have to come back because you're way too small to go on the adult rides."
Sakuro's jaw dropped in a look of pure shock. "No, they won't! I'm much bigger now!"
"Just because you're seven today does not make you immune to the rules," Tadore teased.
"C'mon, honey, give him a break," Mirayu said with a smile. "It's his birthday today, and besides, he's only a kid."
"No, I'm NOT!" Sakuro protested.
"Yes, you are," Tadore said.
"I'M NOT!"
"Are too."
"I'm not!"
"Are too!"
"I'm not!"
"You are too."
"Well, if you say so. Ha, ha, ha!.- Sakuro finally realizes.
"You tricked me!"
" what do you mean, all I did was agree to what you said and you agreed to mine"
-Mirayu laughs at them, they see someone lying on the road when itadore stops the car.
" What's wrong?"- minutes tries to ask.
"There's someone on the ground."-Mirayu looks closely to see the man
" Wait in the car, Sakuro."
-As Itadore and Mirayu go out of the car
"Mom?" - he looks a little worried about the situation.
"Stay in the car, Sakuro. We'll be right back."-As she walks to Itadore.
" Oh my, he's terribly injured!"- worry spreading on there faces. In a place like this one can only wonder how a man got injured this badly.
"Call the ambulance and police!"
" Yes, right away. -ring...ring..beep" -as it finally stops to ring. A ladles voice could be heard. "Hello 119, what is your emergency"
" Yes hello, there is an injured man.....
- the call getting muffled in the background. Itadore begins to think.
/what could have happen to him to leave him in such a state such as this/
"Hey, hey, hey mister, are you alright?"
- he tries waking up the man, almost on queue, he starts to wake up.
"W—?" - was all he could say. But that said was enough to put relief on itadore.
"Thank goodness you're alright."
" Where am I?" - was the first thing asked by the injured man.
"Don't worry, you're safe now. We've called an ambulance; they'll be here any minute now." -most people would be relived about that but not him.
"You fool!"- grabbing itadore clothes collar.
"You should have left me to die. Now we'll all die! Get out before it's too late!"
the bushes start to shake....
" Damnit, we're too late. They've found me!,ahhh!!!" -The man starts to scream frantically. Like he had just seen death himself. Evident worry growing on itadore face he tries to question on.
"What are you talking—? We're the last words he'd said before seeing the sight before him. The man which was once talking was now screaming in pain. Being devoured by beast. Known by the name Demoris. Beast with a face so twisted, having multiple eyes and the the body structure of a deformed dog.
AAhhh!
" Let's go, Mirayu!"- they try to run to the car but start to get devoured by Demoris.
" Dad! Mom!"- he tries to get out, the car suddenly locks
Car: Child locking activated.
He realizes his mom has the car keys and must have pressed child locking.
"What are you doing! No! I have to save you!"
- she shakes her head and musters a smile one last time.
" We love you, Sakuro." -were the last words he heard from he's mum, the air in this time was ever so still. The once peaceful sound of family warmth was drowned out by demoris eating away at what was left of he's parents. Like a bullet, the situation finally hit him.
Nooo!!
his parents getting devoured by Demoris was not what was on he's mind, Sakuro starts to remember what his mom said)

" No. You lied to me! You said you'd be back! So don't die now! I'm not ready to let you go yet... no, please."
-As he cries , a Demoris starts to hit the car to try to open it. Sakuro hits his head in fear.
" No, p-please-"
he starts to faint, he hears a gunshot. Someone opens the car door
" Over here! I found someone! Kid, you alright?" A man wearing a Police uniform asked. Looking around I a state of confusion Almost felt like the world was spinning.
" youll be alright kid, hey! Can I get a doctor her..." -unboaderd by the police man Sakuro looks around, hands shaking and breaking into a cold sweat he sees them.
" huh, he's name.. Wait hang on -hey kid what's your name, hello. Hey kid."
" why!!!. No,no,no,no!!,mum!!,dad!!,no please answer!!.
-the police man looking bewildered on he's erratic behaviour.
" Hey, wait!, would you stop moving and come with me-"
" mum!!, da-
Sakuro finally faints
- Hey, hey, listen. Kid! Kid! Call the paramedics now, he's fainted!"
Glancing to the side he sees the scene the boy was so agitated about. All to be done was to look away, it wasn't something a person could easily handle. Turning back to look at the fainted Sakuro.
