They were considered average Genetic Armaments at best, after all. Most of the Genetic Armaments he could picture off the top of his head were the famous ones of C rank and above that famous Awakened had showed off in the past.
Those caused a stir whenever they appeared on the open market, as for F rank Genetic Armaments like his Horned Rabbit Spear, they were everywhere and could be bought with enough money. Genetic Armaments C rank and above were unable to be bought with just money most of the time.

Rohan looked down at his wrist — a notification had appeared on his watch.
"$100,000 has been deposited into your account. You have additionally received 1 free copy of 'Basic Origin Energy training manual. This technique is official property of the Awakened Association and cannot be viewed by anyone but yourself."
'Thank god, I was beginning to think the government became stingy all of a sudden!'
The timely deposit of the money into his account was a welcome sight, especially considering he was about to arrive at the mall he planned to purchase some armour and equipment from.
"Basic Origin Energy training manual?" He was unfamiliar with this other item he'd received from the Awakened Association.
His curiosity got the better of him and he opened up the file in the short few minutes of time he had before his taxi arrived at its destination.
Rohan's pupils narrowed immediately upon opening the file. It was a ten page guide to teach him how to cultivate his genes! 'So that's how they do it!'
The method of evolving from an F rank to an E rank, and even further, was never released to the public. Rohan always wondered how they did it, and now the answer was right there in front of him!
The contents of the file went in depth, and was actually very simple when it came down to it. There was an explanation of 'Origin Energy' and its uses for every Awakened.
As it turned out, every Awakened obtained something called Origin Energy upon their Awakening, and it was the sole source of energy used to evolve one's genes to a higher rank. It was said that Origin Energy was everywhere in the universe, and even more abundant in the Origin Realm.
The manual explained that every Awakened absorbed it naturally without even realising it, but that reaching E rank would take decades of natural absorption, compared to a few years or even months if one was talented, with the help of the Basic Origin Energy training manual.
"Origin Energy nourishes and refines your entire body's genetic structure, tempering your body and mind in the process." Rohan read.
"Once your genetic structure has been refined to the limit, you can attempt to break through to the next level. Whether you survive the breakthrough or not depends on your own talent and luck."
"So this is the way Awakened improve and evolve themselves…" Rohan felt enlightened.
It's no wonder there was a warning that only he was authorised to view and read this copy. If this information were to be spread amongst the general populace and end up in the hands of some Awakened who chose to hide themselves from the government, then things could become tricky.
Crime was already at an all time high thanks to registered awakened going around causing too much chaos and destruction here and there thanks to the superiority complex that often develops thanks to their greater strength and evolution into a better human — so you could imagine how bad it could get when unregistered awakened did it.
However, it also served as a method to reduce the number of awakened dying in their attempts to breakthrough to the next rank. Rohan had heard horror stories about Awakened failing to breakthrough and causing destruction to befall those around them as a result.
There was even a warning for it in the manual. Those who failed to break through would have their bodies break down, and all the energy stored within them would be released at once in one big explosion — so it was recommended to go to a secluded area when breaking through, the best choice naturally being the Origin Realm.
Some people were desperate enough to take the risk out of desperation, not caring for the safety of the people around them.

Rohan closed the training manual now that he'd arrived, and quickly focused his attention on the store fronts outside. This area was considered one of the richest in the city, due to the simple fact that all the stores there served Awakened.

An hour later, Rohan stepped back into another hover taxi, this time adorned in a suit of flexible leather armour. It was made from the skin of an F rank beast that was known for its defence and thick skin.
It was a streamlined suit of armour that covered him from head to toe. The headgear was the most well protected part of the set, as it also infused the bones of the beast into it, forming an almost medieval looking helmet.
Overall, it had a matte black lustre to it, which Rohan happened to like a lot — it would make blending in and hiding in the night time easier.
"This set me back $40,000, so it better live up to the price…"
Aside from his armour, Rohan also splurged another $10,000 on other supplies and equipment that would come in quite useful during his travels in the Origin Realm, most of them just there to make his life camping in the wild easier.
He'd arrive at a human city upon entering the Origin Realm, but all the hunting he did would take place in the wilderness, so he had to be well prepared enough for that.
"This is it for now then. I spent over half of my net worth in one trip, so I better make sure to make up for it in the coming days…"
