Chapter 21 - chapter 21

The floating island of the Void-Wood was currently drifting over the Smoking Sea of old Valyria. Kaelen had been hoping for a quiet afternoon of multi-dimensional fly-fishing, but the Void had other plans.

A sudden, harmonic hum—like a crystal glass being struck by a supernova—vibrated through the obsidian floor of the Council Chamber.

"The Void is singing again," Thranduil said, his hand moving to the hilt of his black-blade. "And it's a song of Rebirth."

The Resurrection of the Prince

In the center of the dais, a swirl of "White Void" and "Dragon-Fire" began to coalesce. Out of the nothingness stepped a young boy with silver-gold hair and violet eyes that held the wisdom of a king and the innocence of a child.

Aegon V Targaryen, known to the history books as "Egg," blinked as his bare feet touched the cool stone. He looked down at his small hands, then up at the five towering Lords of Silence.

"Summerhall..." Egg whispered, his voice trembling. "The fire... it's gone."

Kaelen stepped forward, his eyes softening. He reached out and placed a hand on the boy's head. "The fire is gone, Egg. But the Void is forever. You were chosen because this world's dragons have become stunted, weak things. They need a Master who understands that true fire comes from the heart of a star."

The Sixth Lord: The Master of the Drakes

Kaelen infused the boy with the Stellar Core.

The Title: The Sixth Lord of Silence: The Dragon-Speaker.

The Power: Egg didn't just command dragons; he became their source. He could manifest "Void-Dragons"—creatures made of dark matter and violet flame—that lived in the vacuum of space.

The Plea for the Knight

Egg looked at his new father, Kaelen, and his five powerful brothers. Tears welled in his violet eyes. "I... I am grateful for this life, Father. But I cannot walk the stars alone. I had a friend. A knight. The truest man I ever knew."

Egg tugged on Kaelen's robe, his lip quivering with a cuteness that was statistically impossible to resist—even for a Master of the Universe. "Please. Bring back Dunk. Ser Duncan the Tall. He was my shield."

Kaelen looked at Thranduil, who gave a rare, subtle shrug of "just do it, he's adorable."

"Alright, kiddo," Kaelen sighed, snapping his fingers. "One legendary knight, coming right up."

The Guardian of the Council

A rift opened, and a massive man in battered plate armor stumbled out. He stood nearly seven feet tall, looking wildly around the celestial palace with honest, confused blue eyes.

"Egg?" Dunk gasped, dropping to one knee as the boy tackled his waist. "Lunk? Am I dead? Is this the Seven Heavens?"

"Better," Kaelen announced, stepping toward the giant knight. "Duncan the Tall, I name you the Guardian of the Council. You are the Shield of the Void-Wood."

The Guardian's Mandate

Kaelen forged a suit of "Singularity-Plate" for Dunk—armor that could withstand the collapse of a star.

The Rank: Dunk answers only to the Six Lords of Silence.

The Authority: Even the High Inquisitors—Gandalf, Galadriel, Oropher, and Elrond—must yield to the Guardian's path. He is the physical enforcement of the Council's peace.

The Queen of Thorns' Ascension

While the boys were busy with dragons and knights, Lúthien-Ael had wandered back to the Reach. She found Olenna Tyrell sitting in her garden, looking bored with her newly healed joints.

"Olenna," Lúthien chirped, her small hand glowing with stasis-light. "My brothers have a lot of inquisitors who are very serious and old. They need someone who is... 'snarky.' That's what Father calls it."

Lúthien tapped Olenna's forehead.

The High Inquisitor of Wit:

Olenna Tyrell didn't get a staff or a sword. She was given the Tongue of the Void. Her words now carried the weight of absolute truth. If she told a corrupt Lord he was a "worthless sack of turnips," he would literally transform into a sack of turnips for an hour.

"I could get used to this," Olenna cackled, her eyes flashing with violet power.

The Current State of the Void-Wood

The floating island was now a bustling hub of cosmic activity.

Kaelen sat on the porch of the cottage, watching Egg show Dunk how to ride a dragon made of shimmering purple smoke.

"Seven Lords eventually, I suppose," Kaelen mused, sipping his tea. "But for now, six sons and a daughter is plenty. Thranduil, go tell Dunk to stop trying to salute every time I walk by. It's making the floor shake."

Thranduil smiled, watching his new youngest brother laugh. "He's a good addition, Master. The Void feels a little warmer today."
