Well, learning to use Ki sounds very strange in Marvel; it requires concentration and having a relatively high power level, and one thing I've noticed during these two weeks that I've been here is...
There is nothing from DC/Warner in this world, there is no Ben 10, Looney Tunes, Samurai Jack, and even Scooby-Doo doesn't exist.
From what I read in some old newspapers, the company that was supposed to be Warner went bankrupt in the 90s, and Disney became the monopolist of the children's and youth market.
All the famous anime series are already available here: Dragon Ball, Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Doraemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and many others.
Apparently, nobody here knows what an Omnitrix is or which rabbit keeps bothering the black duck with the lisp.
If I weren't one of the most bloodthirsty vigilantes in New York, I'd try something like that, but nobody would let me open a company aimed at children and teenagers; nobody would be crazy enough.
On a Saturday morning, during a winter's day, Cooler and Marco were on top of the old building they use as a base.
Cooler then says:
"All my knowledge comes from the memory of my original body; thanks to this, I can show you how to use Ki. Now pay close attention to the first objective of this training: feel the vital energy of all the people who live a few blocks away." Cooler says.
Let's see if this works here.
Marco then concentrates and manages to feel the vital energy of a baby and its breastfeeding mother, but it is only for a short time and he returns to the initial stage.
Cooler chuckles slightly and says:
"Good try, earthling, but I expected much more from a war veteran. If you were like that during the Gulf War, you would be dead; the Iraqis would have killed you easily." Cooler says.
Cooler then explains:
"Stay focused, you're a war veteran, your mind has to work as if you were in 1990 fighting against the Iraqis in Kuwait." Cooler explains.
Okay, time to be more objective.
This time, Marco tries to focus on conflicts that might be happening in the neighborhoods: robbery, murder, and rape.
Marco then sensed a vital energy diminishing, and another nearby; it was a robber who had just seriously injured a victim and was leaving with some dollars.
You'll get what you deserve, you bastard!
Cooler sees from Marco's reaction that he has finally felt vital energy, not in the traditional way, but in his military way.
Cooler then says:
"You finally felt the vital energy; now consider this the first step. The next step is to channel energy into your hands." Cooler says.
Cooler then channels a small purple sphere into his fingers and launches it in the direction where the assailant was fleeing, then Cooler raises his hands and closes them.
A small explosion is heard, after which, absolute silence.
Cooler then says:
"Try doing that, but with the object I'm going to create." Cooler says.
Cooler tears off a small part of his metallic tail, and that small part of the tail becomes a can.
This can't be that easy, otherwise Doctor Doom would have figured it out.
Marco then begins to channel energy into his fingers, but before he can launch any attack, Marco tires and falls to the ground, his entire body covered in sweat.
Cooler approaches Marco and says:
"You have great potential, Earthling, but you won't succeed on your first try. Continue absorbing the vital energy of criminals, and who knows, you might be able to use energy attacks. For now, you can sense the vital energy of any thug from a few blocks away. Now you have a sort of GPS in your mind; as you get stronger, the range will expand, from city blocks to neighborhoods, from neighborhoods to cities, from cities to states, from states to countries,from countries to continents, from continents to planets, from planets to solar systems, from solar systems to galaxies, and from galaxies to the universe." Cooler says.
Okay, the power levels in Marvel are even higher than in Dragon Ball.
Marco was still exhausted and unable to get up, so Cooler used his telekinesis and carried Marco inside the building.
Cooler then says:
"You were too hasty, but now you can feel vital energy, that's a good start, but if this were my world you'd be as strong as the useless Raditz, which means you'd still be weak. And in this world, the sky's the limit when it comes to power levels, so if you want to face a truly powerful enemy, I advise you to only confront enemies from the criminal underworld." Cooler says.

A few blocks ahead, a certain friendly neighborhood guy was chatting with Daredevil about the rumor that the Punisher was now a mutant.
Daredevil then says:
"Seriously, Peter, Frank is much stronger than he used to be, he managed to defeat me, I think his strength is approaching Electro's." Daredevil says.
Spider-Man then says:
"Are you crazy, Matt? If the Punisher is on Electro's level, I'm going to have to fight seriously. You know very well that there are only two of my enemies who can easily defeat me: the Lizard and Carnage. If Frank is at Electro's level, now it's my turn to go and talk to him." Spider-man says.
Daredevil then warns:
"Frank is hiding something, I don't know what it is, but be careful, he might have something very dangerous." Daredevil warns.
Spider-Man then senses, through his spider-sense, something very dangerous nearby.
Before he could do anything, a punch hit him and he was thrown several meters.
Daredevil then stammers:
"Y-Y-You is alive?" Daredevil stammers.
Then a gruff voice says:
"I have a score to settle with that son of a bitch, and from what I've heard, he's a mutant now. Now the guys who hired me are going to kill each other over the Punisher's DNA; if you doubt it, SHIELD will want their own Weapon X." The gruff voice says.
Daredevil then uses his nunchaku to strike the mysterious enemy, finishing him off with a right hook that knocks Daredevil unconscious.
Spider-Man gets up and when he sees who it is, he asks:
"Didn't the Punisher kill you a few years ago?" Spider-Man asks.
The gruff voice then replies:
"That son of a bitch killed my father, now I'm going after him." The gruff voice replies.
Spider-Man understood that it was just another revenge plot by a mafia family, so the Punisher could handle it.
Spider-Man then says:
"That's fine, but you won't be the first to try this and die like everyone else. You can go ahead and face the Punisher." Spider-man says.
Then something appears right in front of Spider-Man, a reptilian creature covered in metallic skin and with red eyes.
Cooler then says:
"I sensed your Ki, Paolo Costa, you have a power level of 1,300, you took mutant hormones to try and kill Frank Jr. You are a grain of sand compared to a tsunami.I recommend you flee, Earthling, as fast as you can. I'll only give you 10 seconds; after that, you'll turn into cosmic dust." Cooler says.
Paolo then throws a punch, and Cooler defends himself with his pinky finger.
Cooler then says:
"Time's up." Cooler says.
Cooler channels energy into his other hand and disintegrates Paolo.
Spider-Man is surprised to see who it is and says:
"My son watched the movie you're in last week, and now I'm seeing you right in front of me." Spider-Man says.
Cooler then turns around and warns to Spider-Man:
"You have to be careful, Earthling. I'm sensing different energies from some heroes; they may not be what you imagine. Keep an eye out." Cooler warns.
Cooler then takes flight and leaves the building.
Spider-Man then says:
"I think it's best not to mention that I saw an anime character disintegrate a person; they'll call me crazy." Spider-man says.
