Ray's POV
"Interesting."
"Take care of him, Kasa" The leader of the Origami gang said with cigarette in his hands.
"Take the girls to parlour. They will become prostitutes to pay their debt . Rebecca will teach them. As for the other boy, he's worthless to me. I don't need him." He said.
It was a draw. But i didn't lose. I was happy that i didn't die but not much changed. I still caused it all. And now my sister's will become prostitutes.
The paperwork was issued to Drae to sign. He had a debt of 30 million dollars to pay, which was impossible. I was going to assist him with the money i make because i caused it all.
But he went behind my back and insisted to meet the leader of the Origami gang. He begged to be taken in as a gang member too but the leader refused.
"How can you prove your worth to me? You're weak. I have no use of you." The boss said.
A knife was brought out by Drae from his pocket. He used it to try to cut of his fingers to show his allegiance to the boss but it wasn't cutting. He couldn't do it.
"How weak and pathetic." Kasa said.
"How dare you do this in front of the boss." Another man said.
The boss immediately squatted down and assisted him by showing him how to cut his fingers.
It was painful, Drae was filled with sweat and tears.
"I look up to you and i will prove it to you. I want to become your son and do your biddings." Drae said in agony.
He finally succeeded in cutting of two of his fingers.
The boss laughed.
"Welcome my son. I am now your father." The boss said as he walked away.
"He might actually be of use to us later. Let's keep him." The boss whispered to kasa.
Drae knelt there crying. He was happy that he got in but was in pain from the cut. He bled profoundly. He was losing a lot of blood. Then he took his clothe and tied his fingers before he rushed to the hospital.
I saw Drae from afar. He came back with a bandage on his hands. I ran toward him.
"What happened to you?" I asked.
"It's nothing really." He replied.
The girls came rushing as they saw him.
"Your fingers, they are gone." Arisa said.
She immediately started crying.
Rosso looked from afar and left. He couldn't really say anything. We already proved that we could take care of ourselves.
We went inside to the kitchen counter to sit.
I apologized for everything i did. I told them i had my reasons. It's been a long day for all of us and tomorrow would be worse. We all start our new lives tomorrow.
At least we get to leave this orphanage home. I hope it would be eventful.
The girls didn't know yet that they were going to become prostitutes and that Rebecca would teach them. I couldnt tell them yet, i was too ashamed to even say it.
The next day, a van came to the orphanage home and took Drae,Lilac, Arisa and i.
That day we were separated.
I woke up on a bed that day, Drae was my bunk mate. He was still asleep. We were four in a room. The room had only one window and the walls were painted ash. It wasn't a big room. It was small.
I don't remember how we got there though. I remember us getting into the van but my memory after that was blur.
I stood up from my bed and asked the other man in the room. The both men were really mean though but i didn't pay attention to that.
"Do you know where we are? I can't remember anything." I asked
"You're at the hideout. You can't remember anything because you are not one us of us yet, you were probably drugged so you wouldn't know the location of this place." The man replied, then spit on the floor as a sign of disgust.
The other man just looked at me as he sharpened his knife.
"Just stay out of our way kids." The other man said.
I walked over to Drae's bed and woke him up. I told him we were drugged and then he immediately thought about the girls.
There was nothing we could do but hope that they are fine.
A few hours later, we were summoned by the boss. We were taken to his office. I looked around as we walked. It was huge.
The boss office was at the top floor. We got there and it was different from what his room looked like. It was obviously going to be different, what was i thinking, it's an office afterall.
The walls were painted ash and there was an office table and chair where he sat. He looked colder than ever. There were files scattered around the place.
Different drawers. I looked at him and immediately bow down my head and greeted him. Drae did the same.
"Thank you sir for this opportunity." We said.
"There's no need to thank me. The work you all put in would make a great pay." He said with a smirk.
"Now it's time for your first task. You won't be accompanied by anyone. You just have to get it done."
"Go and get the documents i need to buy this land. And come back with his fingers. I would need them."
That was the first time i had to do such a thing. The look on Drae's face was scary. He smiled at me but it was just a font in front of the boss.
We were given information on the person from kasa. All we needed to do was to find the place.
"Don't mess up, or the boss will use you as lackeys and eventually kill you." Kasa said to us.
As we stepped out of the building. I made it clear to Drae.
"No matter what, we don't kill and that's our rule."
