Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: Assessment

Miracle City was poor, its functions incomplete, and it temporarily lacked the ability to expand externally. Therefore, after its construction was completed, there was nothing to do for a while, making it quite boring.

Quinn then activated the core to check the message management panel.

The four sub-options were [Personal Information], [Territory Information], [Lord Communication Area], and [Adventurer Communication Area].

The first two need no explanation.

The Lord Communication Area, as the name suggests, was a Lord chat group.

There would always be one thousand Lords in the group chat, if a Lord left, a new Lord would join.

All members would not have been Lords for more than five years, if they exceeded this time, or if their territory collapsed, or the Lord died, they would automatically be removed. It was roughly equivalent to a newcomer chat group.

In the communication channel, messages scrolled by quickly.

It was more lively and active than expected.

All Lords were displayed by number.

Lord 0422: "My people, who understands? I've been a Lord for three months, and not a single Adventurer came today. What should I do? I'm so anxious! Please, experienced big shots, teach me how to trick Adventurers into coming to my door!"

Lord 0321: "Help! I made my Secret Realm too simple, and Adventurers clear it every day. These damned locusts are too ruthless; they've almost drained me dry. I earnestly beg for guidance from seniors, and I will repay you generously!"

"…"

Lord 0501: "The decisive battle against the Dark Lord in this area is imminent. This battle is either success or sacrifice. Wish me luck!"

Lord 0131: "Everyone, keep up the good work! I'm about to start my third expansion, and I expect to automatically leave the group in ten days."

Lord 0052: "Wow, bowing down, a multi-city big shot!"

Lord 0123: "Already about to establish a third city during the newcomer period? That's too strong! Big shot, do you still need a hanger-on?"

Lord 0957: "Envious. I've been muddling along for two years and haven't even cleared my first map. Every day, I rack my brains dealing with these difficult and cunning Adventurers, and I'm constantly harassed by Dark Kind. My heart is exhausted, and I'm on edge. My life is simply unbearable!"

Lord 0421: "Long-term collection of blueprints, spirits, secret crystals, and various materials. Big shots with goods, private message me!"

"…"

The Lord Communication Area was not just for interaction and communication.

It was also a place to obtain intelligence, request help, and exchange information.

Miracle City currently had no trading function because opening territory trade required building a "Trading Hall."

Although he couldn't participate in territory trade, peeking at the Lords' chats could pass the time and also allow him to understand recent market prices and gather some useful intelligence.

Lords and Adventurers were two different groups.

Adventurers lived in the surface world, while Lords came from the underground world.

Between the surface and the underground was the dark and chaotic Chaos World, with multiple layers of Chaos Continent, filled with billions of Dark Kind and dark forces, which was also the area where billions of Underground City were located.

Lords usually could not enter the surface and Adventurers usually could not enter the underground.

The surface world and the underground world were completely different. Before becoming a Lord, Quinn had lived in the Underground City for twenty years and naturally had a social circle of classmates and relatives.

But after becoming a Lord, he had to use a teleportation station to return.

Although this teleportation station was a first-tier basic facility, it was the most expensive of all basic facilities, requiring a full 10,000 soul crystals to build.

Most new Lords had their territories destroyed by the onslaught of Dark Kind and monsters before they could even build a teleportation station.

This showed that being a Dungeon Lord was a very high-risk job.

After browsing the Lord chat group for a while, he opened the "Adventurer Communication Area."

Every Underground City would be bound to at least one surface city-state. Miracle City was currently bound to Black Stone Town, so Quinn could also enter the Adventurer communication forum for Black Stone Town.

Adventurers all came with an Adventurer System.

Thus, they had regional network communication capabilities.

This "Adventurer Forum" was very similar in style to internet forums in his previous life, and it was also divided into many sections, with a large number of Adventurers sharing information and exchanging experiences every day.

Quinn could collect feedback.

He could learn about the Adventurers' thoughts and statuses and this information could help with Secret Realm creation.

The Black Stone Town Adventurer Forum was very lively. After all, Black Stone Town had 100,000 Adventurers, which also led to the forum's content being overly rich. Among it, there was even a post related to himself.

"Miracle City's Secret Realm "Doomsday Frenzy" Evaluation Report!"

The post was published half an hour ago.

"Hello everyone!

"I am the newbie Adventurer Black Stone Hammer King."

"Today, I bring you a test experience of a brand new Secret Realm!"

"This Doomsday Frenzy is a new Secret Realm launched by Miracle City, and it's also the most surprising treasure Secret Realm I've encountered recently!"

"Let me put it this way: even if I die, even if I'm nailed into a coffin, I will use my decaying vocal cords to shout… Doomsday Frenzy is awesome!"

"The richness and detail of the scene materials in this Secret Realm are the best I have ever seen among all Secret Realms."

"The Lord, with top-tier inspiration and design skills, has created a uniquely styled Apocalypse for us."

"This world is full of details and self-consistency everywhere. Whether it's buildings, facilities, clothing, or transportation, everything is unique, making one feel that this is a real world, so one can't help but want to explore its history, and the reasons and stories behind the Apocalypse."

"The Secret Realm's resource output will also not disappoint. So far, known harvests include cola, beer, ham sausage, chocolate, instant noodles, and so on."

"All of them are unique, delicious foods or drinks from the Secret Realm world, and the probability of output is quite high. Just this point alone surpasses most Secret Realms on the market and is extremely cost-effective."

"Based on what the Lord revealed and the current development progress, it's not difficult to judge that these rewards are only the most basic rewards!"

"In any case, Doomsday Frenzy is definitely worth a try. I have a hunch that this might become another big hit Secret Realm in Black Stone Town!"

Quinn patiently finished reading.

The evaluation post was two to three tens of thousands of words long because it was written in a hurry, the writing was a bit sloppy and chaotic.

However, it provided a detailed introduction and highly praised the Secret Realm from aspects such as cities, clothing, architecture, monsters, weapons, game-play, and resource output. It could completely serve as a promotional tool for Miracle City or the Doomsday Frenzy Secret Realm.

Of course.

Black Stone Hammer King was not a famous Adventurer, and the post had just been published, so it hadn't caused much of a stir yet. Moreover, the praise was so exaggerated that it seemed like it might be a paid promotion.

After all, it was common for unscrupulous Lords and dishonest Adventurers to collude in hype, drawing people into trashy Underground City Secret Realms to be fleeced like pigs.

Therefore, the post had a certain number of views at the moment, but most of the replies were skeptical and mocking.

It doesn't matter.

Let the bullets fly for a while!

Quinn checked the time. The Chaos Tide was about to descend again, and the Underground City's opening hours were approaching. It was time to prepare to welcome the Adventurers who would arrive for the new day.

Today's harvest would surely not disappoint!
