Not long after, the carriage came to a halt. It didn’t arrive at Aiselle yet, the city where the Central Academy was located.
We got out of the carriage that pulled over in front of a large building in the center of the capital and went inside.
"This is my first time taking a portal!"
Shining her eyes, Belle looked around in wonder.
'Well, it is quite marvelous to me too.'
A building that would be considered modest compared to the Atlante mansion or the royal palace. But this was no ordinary place as long as it housed portal.
Portal.
Among the many miraculous uses of magic, the portal was the most useful in my opinion. This device allowed a sort of teleportation, transporting people a great distance in a very short time.
As it was expensive for a ride, the portal remained unattainable for those without a considerable amount of money, but due to its convenience, the building with access to this device was always crowded with people. Just like now.
