Chapter 31 - Teams, Tension aur… Unexpected Moment

CHAPTER 30

“Teams, Tension aur… Unexpected Moment”

Agla din school unusual si energy se bhara hua tha. Jaise poora campus ek hi baat ke liye breathe kar raha ho—Annual Fest.

Corridors me posters aur charts latak rahe the, juniors running around with props, teachers har dusre bachche ko tasks assign kar rahe the.

Radhika ne apni classroom me enter karte hi notice kiya ki sab apni-apni teams aur preparations ko lekar besh-bya fank busy the. Kritika directly uske desk par aayi, bag rakhte hi bola:

“Madam superstar! Aaj tumhari performance practice ka part 2 hai. Ready ho?”

Radhika ne sarcastic expression diya, “Haan haan, bohot ready hoon. Bas kal girne ka Olympic moment repeat na ho.”

Kritika hansi, “Chal, tension mat le. Waise bhi… Aarav pakad lega.”

Radhika ne water bottle uthakar Kritika ko lightly tap kiya, “Band kar, please!”

Kritika aur bhi hansi, “Theek hai, theek hai. Lekin ek baat sach me kahu? Tum log stage par bohot natural lagte ho. Chemistry wali vibe aa rahi hai.”

Radhika ne aankhon me irritation aur cheeks me blush dono saath me feel kiya.

Chemistry?

Wo khud confused thi… chemistry se zyada confusion ho raha tha.

Tabhi teacher ne class me enter kar ke bola:

“Teams! Auditorium in 10 minutes. Today is important practice. Everyone be present.”

Classroom me excitement ka tsunami aa gaya.

“3-minute late mat hona. Teacher instructions de rahi hongi.”

Kritika ne smirk kiya.

Radhika ne notebook clutch ki, “Main time pe pohonch jaungi.”

Aarav ne sirf ek small nod diya aur aage badh gaya.

Kritika ne uske side me chal kar kaan me fuskara, “Dekha? Tumhari punctuality ki bhi chinta karta hai.”

“Chup reh,” Radhika ne face turn kar liya.

Auditorium – 3:02 PM

Jaisi hi Radhika auditorium me aayi, Aarav stage ke corner par khada tha—clipboard haath me, full focus.

Teacher instructions de rahi thi:

“Performance dynamic honi chahiye. Stage movement smooth ho. Expression clear.

Aarav, tum main guide ho, so movements ka balance tum maintain karoge.

Radhika, emotional segments tumhare upar depend karte hain.”

Sab log settle hote hi practice shuru hui.

Segment 1 – Controlled Expressions

Aaj ka first segment tha “controlled emotions”—jisme Radhika ko pretend karna tha ki uske emotions phas gaye hain… aur Aarav unhe break karne me help kar raha hai.

Lights soft blue hue me shift ho gayi.

Music low, heartbeat jaisa rhythm play ho raha tha.

Radhika center stage par khadi thi, eyes partially closed. Aarav uske circle ke bahar slow, rhythmic steps me move kar raha tha.

Aarav ki voice low, instructive tone me aayi:

“Shoulders loose. Breath slow. Eyes open… gradually.”

Radhika ne aankhen dhire se kholi.

Aarav uske bilkul saamne khada tha—lamps ki warm light uske face par ek strange calm create kar rahi thi.

“Ab iss direction me step logi,” Aarav ne haath se signal diya.

Radhika ne step liya.

Phir second.

Phir third…

Par fourth step par balance phir se thoda bigad gaya.

Radhika hil gayi, “Aah—sorry!”

Is baar Aarav ne reflexively uska wrist pakad liya…

Firm grip.

Warm hand.

Stable hold.

“Relax,” usne low tone me kaha. “Tum panic jaldi kar leti ho.”

Radhika ne throat clear kiya, thoda embarrassed hote hue, “Tum perfect balance wali ho, obviously tumhe samaj nahi ayega.”

Aarav ko ye sunkar ek second ke liye smile aayi.

Wo honestly bohot rare tha… aur Radhika ne notice kiya.

Aarav: “Perfect nahi. Bas focus zyada hota hai. Tum bhi kar sakti ho… thoda practice aur.”

Uski calm confidence Radhika ko bhi thodi steady feel hui.

Segment 2 – Dialogue + Movement

Is segment me dono ko ek synchronized scene perform karna tha.

Teacher ne clap kiya, “Positions!”

Aarav stage right me.

Radhika stage left me.

Music start.

Radhika ko emotional confusion show karna tha, Aarav ko soft guiding gestures.

Scene beech me Radhika ek dialogue bolti hai:

“Mujhe samaj nahi aa raha… main kis direction me jaaun?”

Aarav ne slow pace me uski taraf move kiya aur soft voice me bola:

“Jo tumhe sahi lage. Main yahan hoon… tumhe balance karne ke liye.”

Radhika ka heart skip hua.

Usne turant line ko acting ke chalan me count kiya… par uske andar kuch different feel hua.

Kritika peeche se slow clap kar rahi thi jaise movie dekh rahi ho.

Teacher ne appreciate karte hue kaha, “Good progress. Bas thoda closeness natural rakhna. Awkward pausing kam karo.”

Radhika ne aankhon se hi Aarav ko “it’s your fault” wala look diya.

Aarav ne casually shoulder lift kiya, jaise bol raha ho—“Main kya karu?”

Break Time – 10 minutes

Lights off ho gayi, students break me idhar-udhar gaye. Kritika Radhika ke paas double speed se aayi.

“Tum log kaafi ache lag rahe the stage par! Matlab itni natural chemistry to koi reel couple me bhi nahi hoti.”

Radhika ne instantly protest kiya, “Arey! Ye sirf practice hai. Kuch bhi natural nahi tha.”

Kritika ne naughty smile di, “Haan, haan… main hi pagal hoon. Waise tumhare dialogues real lag rahe the.”

Radhika ne bottle uthayi, “Maine acting ki, Kritika.”

Kritika: “Hmmm… aur Aarav?”

Radhika: “…usne bhi acting ki.”

Kritika smirk: “Ya sure.”

Radhika ne uski back lightly hit kar di, “Stop!!”

Par Kritika ki baat uske mind me thodi ghul gayi thi.

Practice Continues – Stage Choreography

Break ke baad teacher ne sab ko dubara stage par bulaya.

Aarav ne Radhika ko gesture kiya, “Come. Aaj transitions important hai.”

Radhika stage ke beech me khadi hui aur deep breath li.

Aarav ne instructions shuru kiye:

“Step one—tum left side se aogi.”

“Step two—main tumhare front se cross karunga.”

“Step three—tum mujhe almost touch karogi but ruk jaogi. Emotional hesitation.”

Radhika ne eye roll kiya, “Matlab again awkwardness?”

Aarav ne calmly jawab diya, “Scene ka part hai. Real awkwardness tum kam kar do.”

Radhika: “Tum kar do kam. Tumhi cause ho.”

Aarav ek second ke liye literally blank reh gaya.

Phir usne slowly smile kiya.

“Interesting logic,” usne bola.

“Chalo, start.”

The Accidental Close Moment

Lights dim.

Music start.

Radhika left se walk karrahi thi. Aarav center me calmly khada.

Scene ke according Radhika ko uske paas aana tha, phir hesitation me ruk jana tha.

Par jaise hi wo aage badhi, ek junior stage ke neeche se props lekar guzra… usse avoid karne ke chakkar me Radhika ka foot angle thoda wrong ho gaya.

Woh seedhe Aarav se takra gayi.

Not a small bump.

Bilkul close collision.

Aarav ne instantly arms raise karke usko pakad liya, taaki wo gir na jaye.

Lights us waqt warm yellow thi. Auditorium ek second ke liye silent.

Radhika ki heartbeat dangerously fast.

Aarav ki eyes thodi wide, par uska hold steady.

Kritika peeche se slow whisper:

“Oh. My. God.”

Teacher ne cough kiya, “Ahem… theek ho tum dono?”

Radhika turant peeche hatti, face pura red.

“Y-yes ma’am. Sorry!”

Aarav ne calmly bola, “She’s okay. Continue karein?”

Teacher ne nod kiya, “Okay. But careful.”

Radhika backstage gayi bottle lene. Kritika bhi peeche aa gayi.

Kritika: “Radhikaa… explain!! Ye kya tha?”

Radhika: “Bas… accident tha!”

Kritika: “Accident romantic tha.”

Radhika ne bottle uthakar Kritika par pretend throw kiya, “Main marungi tujhe!”

Kritika hansi, “Theek hai, theek hai. Relax. Waise tum dono ka moment… movie scene jaisa tha.”

Radhika speechless.

Wo is baat ko accept nahi kar sakti thi, par deny karna bhi mushkil lag raha tha.

The Final Run – Emotional Peak

Teacher ne sab ko stage par wapas bulaya.

“Ab full run karenge. Without break.”

Radhika ne deep breath li. Aarav already center me tha.

Jab performance start hui, kuch different hi feel ho raha tha.

Aaj emotions real lag rahe the, staged nahi.

Anger scene—Radhika ne itna intense perform kiya ki teacher ne bhi appreciate kiya.

Confusion scene—Aarav ke soft guiding steps perfectly synced ho rahe the.

Acceptance scene—dono ek perfect balance me aage badh rahe the.

End ke last step me Radhika ko lightly Aarav ki taraf move karna tha… aur Aarav ko soft nod dena tha, jisse acceptance represent ho.

Is baar awkwardness nahi thi.

Awkward silence nahi thi.

Kuch naya tha.

Ek comfort jaisa.

Performance khatam hote hi poori auditorium me clap hua.

Teacher ne bola, “Good job, both of you. Practice iss speed se chali to tumhari team strongest hogi.”

Aarav clipboard pack kar raha tha jab usne Radhika ki taraf dekha.

“Good work,” usne calmly bola.

Radhika thoda surprised ho gayi. “Tum bhi… good guide ho.”

Aarav ke lips corner me ek halki si smile aayi.

“Kal aur intense scenes honge. Ready rehna.”

Radhika ne sir hilaya, “Main ready hoon.”

Aarav chale gaya.

Kritika turant lightning speed se Radhika ke paas aayi, “Girl… tum dono ke vibe me kuch toh chal raha hai.”

Radhika ne instantly bola, “Kuch bhi nahi chal raha. Bas performance.”

Par Radhika khud bhi samajh nahi pa rahi thi…

Yeh sirf performance kyun nahi lag raha tha?

Kyuki jo stage par ho raha tha…

Wo emotions jitne pretend hote, utne hi real bhi feel ho rahe the.

Aur iss fest ki starting hi itni intense thi…

To end kaisa hoga?
