She wasn't sitting at the desk. She was standing behind it with both hands flat on the surface, staring at the screens with the focused intensity of a general studying a battlefield. Data streamed across every monitor. Troop positions. Supply routes. Communication intercepts. Weather patterns. Topographic analysis.
She had connected her systems to the Kingdom's national defense grid.
"Holden." She didn't look up. "I've synced my network with the Vanguard military communications array. I have access to all military satellite feeds, border sensor networks, and encrypted command channels. I can see everything the Kingdom can see."
