Chapter 6 - 6 chapter

During their second year, just before the main examinations, Ina, Mina, and Dika received a short-term holiday of twenty-five days, a rare and valuable break that allowed them to step away from their intense academic routine. Since their business had already expanded to the United States, they decided to use this opportunity wisely. Instead of spending all their time at home, they planned a visit to the USA for about ten to fifteen days to personally observe and manage their growing ventures. Accompanied by Dika's father, who had an established residence and business network there, the three friends embarked on their journey with excitement and curiosity. Upon reaching the United States, they were warmly welcomed and comfortably accommodated in Dika's father's house, which was spacious and well-organized, reflecting years of hard work and success. Over the next few days, they visited the newly established crèches they had helped set up. Seeing four to five fully functional centers operating successfully filled them with immense pride. Parents were bringing their children—sons and daughters—before heading to work, trusting the care and environment provided by Ina, Mina, and Dika's organization. The children were happy, the staff was disciplined, and the facilities were well-maintained. When the parents returned to pick up their children, many of them expressed heartfelt gratitude, warmly thanking the trio and even requesting to meet them personally. These interactions deeply touched the friends, as they realized that their work was not just about earning money but also about creating a meaningful impact in people's lives. Observing this appreciation strengthened their determination to grow further and serve more families.

One evening, after returning from visiting one of the crèches, Dika's father sat down with them for a serious discussion. He reminded them that only about one year and four months remained for them to complete their degree. While appreciating their business success, he advised them not to neglect their education. He suggested that since they were already in the United States, they should take advantage of the opportunity to explore options for higher studies, particularly master's programs. His suggestion sparked a new line of thought in their minds. The very next day, the three friends visited several nearby universities and colleges. They interacted with admission offices, collected brochures, and inquired about courses, eligibility requirements, entrance exams, and fee structures. They carefully noted down all the information, including contact numbers, application deadlines, and subject specializations. This experience opened their eyes to a broader academic world and inspired them to aim higher in their educational journey.

Apart from their academic exploration, Dika's father ensured that they also experienced the beauty and lifestyle of the United States. He took them sightseeing to famous places, allowing them to relax and enjoy the environment after months of hard work. They visited parks, museums, and busy city centers, observing the discipline, cleanliness, and efficiency of the surroundings. These experiences gave them a deeper understanding of how developed systems function and motivated them to adopt similar standards in their own ventures. They also spent time shopping, buying gifts for their parents, friends, and close relatives back home. For a few days, they even dined at luxurious hotels, experiencing fine dining and learning about hospitality standards. Though they enjoyed these moments, they remained grounded and aware of their responsibilities.

As the days passed, they began focusing again on their future plans. They organized all the information they had collected about higher studies, creating a detailed list of colleges, courses, and contact details. They also purchased important academic books from the United States to utilize their remaining holidays effectively for preparation. They believed that consistent effort during even small breaks could make a significant difference in their future. With only five days left before their return, they decided to organize a grand event to express gratitude to the people who had supported their work. They planned a large gathering for the staff members, including maids, helpers, and office personnel, as well as the parents of the children enrolled in their crèches. Invitations were sent out, and the event was arranged in a big hotel with careful planning and generous spending.

Understanding that the parents had different work schedules—some working day shifts, others night or evening shifts—they thoughtfully arranged three separate gatherings: a breakfast or snack session, a lunch party, and a dinner party. This ensured that everyone had a chance to attend at a convenient time. Altogether, more than two hundred people participated in the celebrations across these sessions. The events were organized beautifully, with delicious food, warm hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere. During each session, Ina, Mina, and Dika personally interacted with the attendees, expressing their gratitude and listening to their feedback. The highlight of the event was a speech delivered by Dika's father. He spoke about the importance of hard work, discipline, and clear planning. He praised the dedication of the trio and emphasized that their achievements were not just dreams but results of consistent effort and strong values. He also encouraged the parents to support their children's education and to believe in the power of determination.

The speech left a deep impression on everyone present, especially the three friends. It reminded them of their journey—from simple beginnings to managing an international business while still pursuing their studies. As the final day in the United States approached, they packed their belongings, including the books and materials they had purchased, and prepared to return home. Their hearts were filled with gratitude, pride, and renewed determination. They had not only strengthened their business but also gained valuable insights into higher education, management, and life itself. As they boarded their flight back, they silently promised each other that they would continue to grow, not just for their own success but for the benefit of everyone who believed in them.
