Chapter 5:
Souma is then brought to the medical clinic alongside the king to be treated for their wounds. Suddenly Souma realizes that he's won and due to the terms of battle is now the King of Dalmatia and is yet to be throned and married to Lucille.
Lucille and the royal cabinet walk into the treatment room of both Souma and the former king. And everyone looks at both people who have been battered and bruised and brought to near death. Lucille walks up to her father and says "Father are you really going to abdicate the throne?" to which the King replies with a hoarse voice "Yes as a King can never go back on his word, Otherwise he wouldn't be fit to rule."
Lucille then asks about the second part of the deal. To which the king replies "Oh the marriage will get to it once Souma is able to walk and be healed properly." Souma having overheard all this and interrupts "After much thought, I believe it best if the current King remains on the throne until I learn more about this world and about the politics of this nation, so I can be a proper competent ruler. As for the marriage we don't have to go through with it if you don't want to." With Lucille's confusion she suddenly dawns on her that this kid does not know a single thing about ruling or this world since he was brought here by accident through his half-sister. And then says "It's not that I'm against marriage, but I want to get to know you first so this doesn't end up as a marriage of convenience. I want to get to know you as a person before I make my decision, as for my father remaining on the throne until you properly learn how to rule the Kingdom I agree that would be the best decision. But first I want to know what the hell the final attack you used."
Souma hearing Lucille's thoughts on the matter makes him happy, to which he replies "I also want to get to know you too before I get married since I'm no way in hell ready for that. As for the attack it's name is Hollow Purple, and it's essentially a technique created by colliding his Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue (attraction) and Cursed Technique Reversal: Red (repulsion). This combination generates "imaginary mass," which erases anything it touches from reality. It's a secret technique that I inherited from the strongest sorcerer from my world whose name is Satoru Gojo (She doesn't know that he's a fictional character, and it's probably best to keep it that way.), and it's known for its devastating power and unblockable nature."
After explaining what Hollow Purple is Lucille then asks what cursed energy is, and Souma explains it as "Cursed Energy is a form of negative energy that stems from the negative emotions of humans. It's what fuels the power of Jujutsu Sorcerers and the bodies of Cursed Spirits. While almost everyone generates Cursed Energy, only Jujutsu Sorcerers can manipulate and control it effectively. Which are similar to mages of your world. But not everyone can use Cursed Energy as most people use magic here."
"Can't really tell them cursed energy is a fictional form of power from an anime I watch and am a huge fan of. They'd be pissed, and I'd probably get beheaded." Souma thought silently.
