Chapter 2 - Unnamed

Once, in a small, vibrant village, lived three inseparable friends: Arif, Bikram, and Rahul. They were like three branches of the same tree. Every morning, they walked to school together, sharing jokes, snacks, and big dreams about the future.

The Crack in the Bond

One sunny afternoon, a small misunderstanding turned into a heated argument. They were working on a group project when Arif accused Bikram of being lazy. Rahul tried to mediate but ended up taking sides. Harsh words were exchanged, and pride took over. By the time the school bell rang, the three friends, who used to walk shoulder-to-shoulder, walked home through three different paths.

The Silence

Days turned into weeks. The school corridors felt strangely quiet without their combined laughter. Arif sat alone in the library, Bikram played football with strangers, and Rahul stayed quiet in the back of the classroom. They were all miserable, but no one wanted to be the first to say "sorry." They realized that without each other, their days lacked color and excitement.

The Reunion

One rainy day, the school announced a "Teamwork Challenge" where students had to build a bridge using only sticks and glue. The teacher, sensing their distance, purposely put the three of them in one group. At first, they worked in silence. But when their bridge started to collapse, Arif grabbed a stick, Bikram held the base, and Rahul applied the glue.

The physical act of building something together broke the ice. Bikram looked up and said, "I missed you guys." Arif nodded, "I shouldn't have been so rude." Rahul smiled, "The bridge is stronger when we all hold it."

They realized that their friendship was far more valuable than a silly argument. From that day on, they were back on their usual path, walking together, proving that while a storm might shake the branches, the roots of true friendship never break.

Should I make the story longer with more dialogue, or would you like a shorter version for a school assignment?
