Chapter 1 - Title : Second life, No Regret, Chapter 1: The Night I lost Everything

The rain poured heavily, as if the sky itself was mourning.

I stood alone on the rooftop, my hands termbling, my heart shattered beyond repair. Below me, the city lights flickered like distant stars - beautiful, yet so far away from my reach.

Everything I had... Was gone.

"Why?" I whispered, my voice barely audible against thr storm.

Just a few hours ago, I still believed in love. I trusted them. I gave everything - my time, my dream, my heart.

And what did i get in return?

Betrayal.

I closed my eyes, and their faces flashed before me. The person I loved the most... Standing beside the one who ruined me. Smiling. Laughing. As if I meant nothing.

Tears mixed with the rain on my face.

" I was such as fool... "

My family was gone. My friends had turned their back on me. The person i trusted the most had stabbed me where it hurt the deepest.

I had nothing left.

The wind howled louder, pushing against me, as if urging me to step forward.

Maybe this was the end.

Maybe this pain would finally stop.

I took a step closer to the edge.

And then -

A voice.

" Do you really want to end it like this? "

My eyes snapped open.

Someone was standing behind me.

I turned slowly, my heart pounding.

Through the heavy rain, I could barely see their face.just a shadow... Calm, unmoving.

" who are you? " i asked, my voice shaking.

The figure didn't answer immediately.

Instead, they stepped closer.

"If you could go back", they said quietly, " would you change everything?

Go back?

The words enchoed in my mind.

Was that even possible?

I letbout bitter laugh. " what's the point? Nothing will change. People don't change".

The figure stopped just a few steps away.

" you're wrong ".

For a moment, everything went silent. Even the rainseemed to fade.

" you don't need others to change ", they continued." You just need a second chance.

My heart skipped a beat.

A second chance....

"I give u one", the figure said their voice now clearer, deeper, " will you like without regret? "

Without regret.

The would felt heavy. Powerful.

I clenched my fists.

If i could go back... I wouldn't trust so easily. I wouldn't be weak. I wouldn't let anyone destroy me again.

This time -

"I"ll make them regret", i whispered.

A faint smile appered on the figure's lips.

" Good. "

Suddenly, a blinding light surrounded me.

The rooftop disappeared.

The rain stopped.

Everything went dark.

...

And then -

I woke up.

My eyes shot open as i gasped for air.

No rain.

No rooftop.

No pain.

I was lying on a bed.

My room.

The same room... From years ago.

My heart raced as i sat up, looking around in shock.

The old desk. The

Faded curtains. The small crack on the wall i remembered so clearly.

" This... this is.

My hands trumbled as I grabbed my phone.

The date on the screen made my breath stop.

Three years ago.

I started at it, unable to believe my eyes.

I was back.

Not in memories.

Not in dreams.

But truly back.

The slow smile spread across my face, my eyes darkening wirh determination.

" This time... " I whispered.

" I won't lose. "

And I won't regret.
