The mansion was silent.
Aira slowly opened her door, her heartbeat loud in her ears.

She walked quietly down the hallway, every step careful.
The front door was right there.
Freedom.
Her fingers touched the handle—
"Going somewhere?"
Her body froze.
She turned slowly.
Zayn stood in the shadows.
Watching.
Waiting.
Her breath caught.
"I—"
Before she could finish, guards appeared behind her.
There was no escape.
Zayn stepped closer, eyes dark.
"I warned you," he said.
Aira tried to stay strong.
"I won't stay here forever."
For a second, something unreadable flashed in his eyes.
Then he smirked.
