Chapter 38 - The differences between reality and game strategies.

After driving out the runaway soul from Mami, Elsie, who had been waiting nearby, used barrier magic and other techniques to corner it and drive it to the event floor.

After that, we tied it up in a corner of the venue and made it listen to Nakagawa's songs, and it disappeared.

I had heard there was an event planned, but there seemed to be few people there specifically for it, so I thought it wasn't a big deal. However, it turns out they held a mini-concert without any prior advertising.

Therefore, it seems Nakagawa only needed to focus on fulfilling his main job.

...I heard things like that from Nakagawa when I got home.

"Is this really okay? I feel like I've been slacking off..."

"It's fine, isn't it? It ended easily."

"Hmm..."

By the way, this is a side note, but...

The fact that they held a concert without any prior publicity led fans to think "there might be another one," and they started visiting Gakkan Land on their days off.

I thought the person in charge there had 200 or 300 screws loose in their head, but they might actually be quite competent.

Having troublesome fans hanging around all the time would certainly be a pain... but fortunately, Nakagawa's fans are said to be relatively well-behaved. It seems there are some troublesome ones, though.

"Oh, that reminds me..."

"what up?"

"So, what exactly were Yoshino's attributes in this instance?"

"Hmm? Let's see..."

Attributes, attributes... now that you mention it, I completely forgot about them halfway through.

She's not the type to be a responsible older sister, nor is she a disappointing one.

While it could be described as a twin character, it's not a term that refers to her alone.

The "people-pleaser" character doesn't capture the essence of the character, and there's not enough interaction in the classroom to call her a classmate character.

"Quiet character"...that doesn't quite fit either.

...What's going on? I can't find the appropriate attributes.

"No attributes?"

"Really?"

"No, to be precise, I should say that it's not possible to narrow it down to just one..."

"Wait a minute, then how exactly did I manage to beat it?"

Attributes are an extremely important element in strategy, if not absolutely essential.

It would be understandable if you didn't notice it right after you started, but it's abnormal to not realize it even after you've finished.

"...Could it be a void in my heart?"

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"In this strategy, weren't you thinking about the gaps in the opponent's heart rather than deciding your actions based on their personality?"

See, this time, the void in your heart was "self-loathing because you can't talk to people," right?

"Isn't this where the idea for Gakkanland came from?"

"...Now that you mention it, you're right."

Does this mean that elemental attributes are irrelevant to completing the game, and that actions can be decided based on the emptiness in one's heart?

 ...No, that's not it.

Unlike in games, real-life women who are being pursued inevitably have emotional vulnerabilities and serious problems.

It's not that there aren't girls who worry about things while playing games, and in fact, resolving those worries often directly leads to success in completing the game.

A woman's worries can be considered a second factor in determining the best approach to approaching her.

Normally, we solve problems according to the character's attributes, but this can also function as an attribute on its own.

In addition, the essence of hunting runaway souls is to fill the void in the heart.

The strategy is merely a means to an end; the real goal is to fill the void in one's heart.

It wouldn't be surprising if a woman's emotional vulnerability became more important than her personality.

This...is probably going to be quite important for future strategies, isn't it?

"Nakagawa... thanks."

"picture?"

"To think that I, a god, would be taught by a human... I still have a lot to learn."

"Uh, yeah...?"

"Well, I'm going to bed now."

Tomorrow, tomorrow I'm definitely going to spend the whole day playing video games!

"Huh? But tomorrow's Monday...?"

"So what?"

"Um... it's nothing."

"Good night then."

Every time you deal with a runaway soul, a new one appears.

This time, please, please don't find me for a while, okay?
