Chapter 94 - Chapter 94: The Fall of the Seven Myths

[The Center of the Abyss]

The battlefield was suddenly blinded by a flash of absolute white. A massive explosion rocked the seabed, sending a shockwave that flattened the remaining stone pillars for miles. Inside the gut of Charybdis, Cynthia had finally reached her thermal limit.

The void-whirlpool didn't just pop; it was incinerated from the molecular level upward. One moment, the mythic beast was a vortex of teeth and shadow; the next, it was nothing but ionized gas.

"Next," Cynthia hissed, her skin glowing like the surface of a star.

But the Leviathan was faster. Seeing one of its friends deleted, it lashed out with a speed that bypassed the concept of distance. Its massive head slammed into Neweland, the force of the impact shattering his hydro barriers instantly.

Neweland was thrown across the seabed like a broken doll, falling unconscious before he even hit the ground.

"Neweland!" Cynthia roared. Her red-white hair flared into a corona of plasma as she charged the Leviathan, her flight path leaving a trail of molten glass on the seabed. "Your fight is with ME!"

[The Sky of Lasers — Scylla vs. Saina & Nefa]

While the titans clashed in the center, Saina reached the apex of her Dominator Mode. The grief that had weighed her down was now being channeled into pure, destructive light.

"[MILLION LASER BEAM]!" Saina screamed.

From the mechanical ports on her back, millions of miniature, crystalline drones emerged, swarming the air like a hive of angry stars. They locked onto the many heads of Scylla.

The drones fired simultaneously. These weren't standard energy bolts; each beam was concentrated to be hotter than a supernova. The sky turned violet as millions of light-paths pierced the beast's shadow-flesh.

"Don't stop!" Nefa laughed, her emerald aura flickering as she used the distraction to move.

She became a ghost in the light, her daggers carving through the necks of the heads that Saina's lasers had weakened. Scylla's heads began to fall one by one, dissolved by the heat before they could even hit the floor.

The battlefield was no longer a sea or a seabed; it was a cosmic forge where myths were being unmade by the sheer will of the Z Elite. As the world-serpent thrashed and the armored leviathan groaned, the very foundations of the Second Floor began to crack.

[The Tectonic Execution — Cetus vs. Gaia & Fraxy]

High above the battlefield, the Geo Dragon loomed like a mountain range given life. Its scales, forged from obsidian and reinforced by Gaia's silver mana, cast a shadow that swallowed the mythic Cetus whole.

Cetus looked up, its ancient eyes wide with a rare flickering of fear. What is this thing? the beast thought, its primitive mind struggling to comprehend. This is even bigger than me... and its skin is harder than the core of the world!

Gaia stood atop her dragon's brow, her hands glowing with the weight of a planet. "[METEOR BEAM]!"

The Geo Dragon opened its jagged maw, charging a sphere of compressed mineral energy that glowed with a terrifying, white-hot intensity. Cetus roared, thrashing its massive tail to retreat—but it didn't budge.

The beast looked down in horror. From the very earth beneath its belly, massive Geo Hands—hands made of the same obsidian tectonic plates—had erupted and were gripping its armored body with a vice-like hold.

"Don't bother struggling," Gaia whispered. "The earth itself wants you gone."

BOOM! The Meteor Beam descended, a pillar of geological fire that slammed into Cetus's skull, shattering its armor like glass.

[The Binary Storm — Jörmungandr vs. Techyon & Carod]

On the other side of the abyss, the atmosphere was vibrating with a frequency so high it turned the air into ozone.

Techyon vanished. He wasn't just moving fast; he was pushing his maximum speed, his body becoming a streak of White-Blue Lightning that bypassed the visual spectrum.

Beside him, Captain Carod synchronized his core frequency. "[TYPE SWITCH: LIGHTNING LEVEL 2 — INFERNO VOLT]!"

Carod's chassis turned pitch black, save for the veins of Black-Red Lightning that arced across his thrusters.

The two became a binary storm of destruction. The white-blue light of Techyon and the black-red lightning of Carod spiraled around the planet-sized Jörmungandr like a double-helix of death. Each pass they made didn't just cut; the combined electrical interference caused the serpent's scales to explode in a chain reaction of kinetic discharge.

"Impossible!" Jörmungandr roared, its voice muffled by the sound of thunder. "I am the world! You are but insects!"

"Then we'll be the insects that bring the world to its knees!" Carod's mechanical voice boomed over the crackle of the storm.

They were no longer just attacking; they were piercing through the monster, their speed so extreme that they were carving tunnels of light through Jörmungandr's massive body.

[The Internal Combustion — Bakunawa vs. Ruta]

Ruta was no longer fighting a monster; he was treating the Moon-Eater like a piece of scrap metal. His fists, glowing with the intensity of a subterranean furnace, blurred as they slammed into Bakunawa's snout and underbelly.

Bam! Bam! Bam!

The beast's obsidian scales were shattering under the pressure. Bakunawa lunged, its shadow-flecked jaws snapping at the air where Ruta had been a micro-second before.

"Is that all you have?" Ruta mocked, his voice echoing with the rumble of an earthquake.

"First, I will eat you," Bakunawa hissed, black ichor dripping from its cracked jaw. "Then I will eat that woman and extinguish her sun forever!"

Ruta let out a jagged laugh, his body beginning to radiate a heat so intense the ground beneath him turned to glass. "Your digestive system won't be able to digest me, you oversized lizard. I'm not food—I'm the heart of a volcano!"

Bakunawa roared and made a desperate, wide-mouthed charge, but Ruta didn't flinch. He stepped into the beast's reach and delivered a massive uppercut that sent the serpent's head reeling toward the sky. "You are not winning this. Not today. Not ever."

[The Execution of Lies — Cirein-cròin vs. Lapis & Yoru]

Across the field, the shapeshifting Cirein-cròin was a pathetic sight. Half-translucent and stuck in a warped, jagged physical loop, it thrashed against the invisible walls of Lapis's space-warping.

"So," Yoru said, resting her chin on her hand as she watched the beast struggle. "What are we going to do with it? It's kind of an eyesore now."

Lapis shrugged, his Honoured Eyes never losing their focus. "Don't know. Maybe you should just use your ultimate attack and erase him . We have other fights to get to."

"Fair enough," Yoru replied. She raised her palms, a terrifying mixture of blue spiritual mana and yellow electro energy swirling into a sphere. "[FINAL ANNIHILATION BE—!!]"

"WAIT! WAIT!" Cirein-cròin shrieked, its voice high-pitched and desperate. "You are cowards! Cheaters! If you want to fight me at my full strength, you must allow me to transform! A true warrior would wait!"

Lapis blinked, looking at Yoru. "What... what should I do? Should I let go of the space-lock?"

Yoru didn't even hesitate. The light in her hands intensified until it blinded the surrounding abyss. "I don't think he's worth the wait. [FINAL ANNIHILATION BEAM]!!!!"

A massive, spiraling pillar of blue and yellow energy erupted. It didn't just kill Cirein-cròin; it deleted its very existence, leaving nothing—not even ash—behind.

Yoru dissipated the remaining energy with a flick of her wrist and turned toward the center of the battlefield. "Now, let's go. We have to help the others. I can still feel the Leviathan's pressure."
