"No. 13! Begin evacuation! Try to contact the school!" Aizawa shouted, his tired, phlegmatic voice gone. Replaced by the sharp, commanding tone of a professional who knows that every millisecond is crucial to survival. His eyes glowed red fiercely under his goggles, and his black hair flew around his head like enraged snakes. His Quirk immediately focused on the first bad guys in the front row, taking away any advantage they had.
"Sensei! What will you do alone against such overwhelming odds?!" Midoriya blurted out, his voice shaking with pure terror, his eyes fixed on Shigaraki Tomura, who stood in the middle of that army like a living corpse.
"A hero always has more than one trick up his sleeve, Midoriyo," Aizawa snapped, quickly adjusting the scarves around his neck and without another word, he threw himself headfirst down the main staircase, straight into the center of the enemy army.
I watched him fall. Aizawa was a master of close combat. Watching him take down one villain after another with absolute elegance, immobilizing them with his scarves and breaking their bones before they even realized their abilities were failing was a breathtaking experience. But I knew what was coming. My gaze wasn't on those weak pawns. My eyes were locked on the giant, black-and-blue creature that stood motionless behind Shigaraki. Nomu. The thing had no human aura. All I could smell from it was emptiness, the smell of death, and an artificially combined power that defied the laws of nature.
"My lord,"Agron whispered in my head, his voice crawling like a shadow along the walls of my mind."That human worm with his hands on his face... is planning a trap. That misty creature is moving."
He didn't need to tell me twice. Before Iida could order us to retreat to the main door, the space in front of us had suddenly become a giant purple vortex. Kurogiri materialized right in front of the escape route, his yellow, elongated eyes glowing ominously in the darkness of his own body.
"Good day. We are the Alliance of Villains," Kurogiri said with an icy, almost gentlemanly calm that sent shivers down my spine.
No. 13 immediately raised his hand and opened the cover on the finger of his suit, ready to activate his devastating Quirk. But Bakugo and Kirishima were faster. With a wild roar, they charged forward. Bakugo detonated a massive explosion right into Kurogiri's core, while Kirishima attempted to land a hard blow with his hardened fists.
Smoke from the explosion enveloped the area for a second. "I bet you didn't expect this, you bastard!" Bakugo roared with a savage grin.
"That was dangerous..." Kurogiri's voice came from the smoke, completely untouched. The fog spread around them in a flash like a giant jaw.
The space around us exploded into purple darkness. Black mist engulfed everything. I felt the solid ground disappear beneath me. Gravity ceased to exist. The other students screamed as his Quirk sucked them into different corners of USJ. Midoriya, Uraraka, Iida... all fell into the unknown.
At that moment, I released energy from my Ether Core. My armor flared wildly with a bright purple light, and a stabilizing shockwave formed around my body, deflecting the chaos of Kurogiri's portal. I was able to force myself out of the mist. I was able to useDivine Body, break through the space and stay put with Iida and No. 13. But then I caught something in my peripheral vision that made me change my plan.
Not far from me, completely helpless in the giant vortex, Toru Hagakure was falling. Her gloves and boots were flying wildly in the air, and her terrified, tearful cry echoed from the void: "Mephisto! Help!"
I knew that if the portal threw her out alone in some dangerous zone full of bad guys, without any physical defense or offensive Quirk, she had no chance of surviving.
"Agrona, stabilize our fall towards her," I commanded in my mind.
"As you wish, my lord,"the shadow general replied.
With lightning speed, I reached out, grabbed Tora by her invisible wrist, and pulled her to my chest. My armor instantly enveloped her in a thin, protective layer of aetheric energy that absorbed the shock waves of the teleportation. In the next second, the world around us turned upside down, and we were plunged into a blinding white light.
o/ if you didn't get it, I plan on MC having a relationship from Tor in the future, it seems very neglected to me
