Chapter 7:The Shattering
The conflict reached a breaking point during a getaway at a secluded coastal villa.
"Aryan, stop," Meera said, standing by the balcony. "You've replaced my glass wall with yours. You're so afraid of losing me that you've forgotten how to love me."
She dropped a crystal vase over the edge. It shattered on the rocks.
"Don't protect me from the world, Aryan. If you want to keep me, you have to let me be the storm too."
That night, the Architect faced his greatest fear.
He picked up his tablet and deleted the tracking software and the mirrored logs of her life.
