The next day.
Kai and Ryker were already up and ready to go.
However, they waited back for the other person with them.
Angel_Heart was still sleeping.
She slept peacefully like a child, her arms hugging the couch pillows tightly.
"She truly looks like an angel." Adored Ryker, a slight chuckle escaping him.
Kai agreed with a nod.
"I wonder what kind of species she is." He wondered.
"Why don't you ask her?"
"She will probably brag about it." Kai shook his head.
After their talk the other day he got the feeling she was a very proud person.
"During the last voting phase she was looking at the player Nytht with an immense amount of jealousy so it's best we don't ask." He stated.
"Nytht huh? From that idiot Instigator her kind are called Vampys... her species is ranked 13th in the games." Said Ryker suddenly.
"You remembered all of that?"
"Of course! I am very interested in the different alien species after all."
Kai rolled his eyes at his obvious lie.
"Or maybe you only care because she might be good in bed." He retorted.
"I mean did you see her body little bro? She looks like those ClickTak goth girls!"
Ryker didn't disagree.
Kai used to Ryker's ways by now didn't feel any way.
"I think she's a vampire." Instead, he secretly agreed with him.
"She can suck my everything..." Ryker said out loud, drool coming out his mouth.
"You gross man." A female voice called out.
The two brothers turned to see that Angel_Heart was awake.
She cast Ryker a disgusted look before passing them to leave the house.
She also gave a warning.
"Do not take the Vampys lightly. They aren't ranked 13th for nothing."
At her warning the two brothers looked at one another.
Then they shrugged.
"She's just a vampire, a strong enough light source will do."
"Heh, I'm sure there's some garlic in this house. Just sprinkle some on her bo–body and she becomes vulnerable!"
They didn't take her heed of warning seriously.
"You two..." She had no words to say.
She could not believe how foolish her two allies were.
Regret crossed her eyes but she sighed right after.
"I can't believe this... I am going to the middle plaza." Unable to handle the two any longer she quickly went out.
Kai and Ryker followed her out soon after but she was already gone.
"What a quick gal." Ryker muttered but thought it was for the best.
"We should let as few players know we allied with her." He stated and Kai agreed.
"You may act dumb but I am glad you can sometimes be reliable." Kai said when he saw someone leave their house.
Though you rarely show such qualities. He thought as the person approached them.
"Good morning." The player greeted.
It was Sapphire_Maid892903 and she looked very pleased.
Her pleased expression reminded Kai of yesterday, right before they took Angel_Heart away.
She approached another player by the name
"Good morning." Kai greeted back.
She gave them a warm smile that Kai was starting to get annoyed by and started her way to the middle plaza.
That's when Ryker asked a question that was also on Kai's mind.
"Can we ask you something?"
Before she could respond he asked away.
"Why is your name so stupid?"
What 'we', you idiot. Kai cursed at the outright offensive question.
He was planning an apology when he saw the new look on her face.
It reminded him of Amore's right before they killed him.
She was... filled with a perverted kind of joy.
"Ah, you must be new players who don't know about our most beloved mistress." She spoke with an attempt to fix her expression with her hand.
However, she failed to do just that.
In fact, her perversion became worse.
So unsettling. Kai thought, finding it hard to keep a neutral expression.
She continued, "my mistress' existence breathes life into us, she's what keeps our flames burning throughout our entire lives."
"She is our pride." She ended with a pleasant moan.
"You two look like great candidates for my mistress but it's such a pity." She went back to normal and sighed.
"I can smell you two already have masters of your own. No, it's more like you two are your own masters."
She finished and flashed them a smile again before heading to the middle plaza.
Kai was silent as he watched her leave.
This has only been our second game and yet, Heart Handlers are starting to become my nightmares. Kai thought.
If he was a normal individual he would definitely be scared and worried right now.
But neither he nor Ryker could be considered 'normal' in any way.
Instead he felt reinvigorated.
Not to mention, her smile was real this time. He said as he also went to the middle plaza.
With Ryker in tow, he arrived at the middle plaza.
He gave the plaza a quick look.
He noticed two things: the first is a player named Slabbo.
He was the one who Sapphire_Maid892903 was sticking close to the day before.
He looked noticeably paler than yesterday.
The second was the three players missing.
Fisher.
JohnDoe.
Elips0.
That immediately got him thinking.
This Fisher player isn't that stupid is he?
He wondered, after all from what he knew from others' discussions of the player he assumed he would be some kind of 'pro' player.
There's no way they died right? He questioned but dropped the thought moments later.
The three players arrived at the plaza shortly after.
So they are in an alliance? His suspicion was answered as the three came walking towards them together.
"..."
Once more the first few seconds were met with silence.
No one wanted to talk. Especially with what happened the previous day.
However, there was one thing Kai noticed right away.
Every player is wary of Fisher as usual.
It was just like yesterday but even worse.
He could tell what was on their minds even without asking.
They think he's the Swapper.
Ryker noted and Kai nodded.
But he isn't the Swapper, it's likely JohnDoe or that girl named Elips0. He said, reminded of what Angel_Heart said.
The silence continued until the next phase.
Silence.
A few couldn't take it any longer.
"Is the seer going to keep us in the dark?" A player by the name
Kai noted that he was one of the players to vote JohnDoe.
"Patience." Another player uttered calmly, his eyes closed. He was a bald-looking Quadramon.
What surprised Kai was his name.
Rotjaw was shocked. He was a scaled-looking creature with a big long tail.
"Old fella you're still alive?" He questioned with a look of disbelief on his face.
Another player answered his question with a hearty laugh.
His name was
"He's a Hearts fanatic. Why wouldn't he be alive?" He said and turned to the other Hearts fanatic in the game.
"Isn't that right Miss Sapphire Maid?"
Sapphire_Maid892903 flashed her usual kind smile and said, "the Quadramons are under our protection."
"There's nothing those Club fools can do to them."
"Big words for a small flock of pigeons." Angel_Heart sneered with crossed arms.
Sapphire_Maid892903 didn't take offense.
"I didn't realize a Seraphae was in this lovely Diamonds game."
"My apologies."
"Why you..."
"Aren't we sidetracking here?" Dravik sighed.
"Let's not bring the politics of the outside world in here."
Fisher agreed with a cold gaze at those responsible.
His cold gaze silenced everyone again.
Everyone took their leave quietly with heavy hearts.
As for Kai he approached a player.
He brushed past him and passed a note without anyone seeing.
Right after he left with Ryker.
Night 3 is going to be the night a tough night. He understood the players' heavy hearts.
However, for me Night 3 is going to be our entertainment. He said with a smile.
He went back to his house and waited.
In the meantime, he went to the kitchen to see whatever tools he could use.
As for Ryker he sat back with a lazy look.
He wasn't worried in the slightest.
Kai wasn't stupid enough to worry about Ryker too. After all, of the two, he was the toughest.
Shortly after, Angel_Heart arrived and saw Ryker laid back on the couch.
It was the couch she slept on.
"You scum." She cursed with flustered cheeks.
"Hey." Ryker waved at her and made room for her to sit.
She sneered and sat on Kai's couch.
Ryker sighed, cursing Kai's handsome face.
"Aren't you the least worried?" Angel_Heart couldn't help but ask.
"You do know all the hungry sheep's and bad sheep's are likely going to attack today right?"
Ryker raised an eyebrow and said, "how do you know they will attack today?"
"Are you a fool? Wait—never mind, you are indeed a fool." She chuckled and explained, "hungry sheep's and bad sheep's have a total of two days to attack."
"If they don't they will give the victory to the Sheep Dwellers."
Ryker smiled.
"Oh! I knew that. I just wanted to see if you knew."
"You're lying. You clearly didn't."
"Nope~"

"Stop falling for his teasing."
Kai came out of the kitchen armed with all the tools he could find.
Angel_Heart took his advice and asked, "you plan to fight them with those?"
She questioned in confusion.
Kai was armed with all sorts of kitchen utensils. From useless spoons to the dullest knives he could find.
"Don't worry. I won't be doing any fighting." He shook his head.
"At most I will just be playing a game of cat and mouse with them. These tools are just bait to keep myself alive."
He then pointed his thumb at Ryker.
"He will be the one doing the fighting."
Angel_Heart was shocked.
"That clown? You're joking..."
"I am not."
"My little brother can't make good jokes you know?"
"But still you two genetics look extremely weak compared to even the weakest species in the games. Are you sure you can fight the hungry sheep's whose overall prowess is improved?"
"You will find out. Also, isn't that why we have you?"
"If it looks like we're going to die you just heal us back up." He said while feeling the sharpness of the dull knives.
"Besides," He uttered coldly after he was done.
"I know you aren't as useless as you look. You may not be a Clubs Handler but you are still connected to them somehow."
"So make use of that connection and fight with us."
Angel_Heart snorted and said with confidence, "that is obvious."
Ryker chuckled, "just don't freeze when the fighting begins."
They stopped talking and waited.
Nightfall came rather fast.
It was still quiet, the only thing that could be heard was the rattling of the night creatures.
However, it didn't last long.
Kai's ears twitched.
"They are here."
