Morning had arrived.
But Ren still hadn't moved.
He sat there on the ground… holding his sister's lifeless body in his arms.
He didn't even remember when the night had ended.
His eyes were open… but there was no emotion in them.
No tears… no screams… just an empty silence.
As if everything inside him had already shattered.
A cold breeze was blowing.
The soft light of the sun fell upon them both…
but it made no difference to Ren.
He gently brushed his sister's hair aside.
"Wake up…" he whispered softly.
No response.
He tried again…
"Please… wake up…"
But once again… only silence answered him.
After a while, Ren closed his eyes.
Then slowly… he laid his sister down on the ground.
His hands were trembling… but he didn't stop.
He knew… what he had to do now.
Ren looked around…
then began digging the earth with his bare hands.
There were no tools… no help.
Just him… and his pain.
His hands got scraped… they started bleeding…
but he didn't stop digging.
After a long time…
a small grave was ready.
Ren carefully lifted his sister…
as if she were still alive.
And gently placed her into the grave.
For a few seconds, he just looked at her.
Her face was completely calm…
as if she were simply asleep.
Ren took a deep breath.
Then… he began covering her with soil.
With every handful of dirt…
his heart grew heavier.
When it was all over…
Ren stood there in silence.
Not crying… not speaking.
Just staring…
at the place where he had buried his entire world.
After a while…
he spoke softly:
"I'll come back…"
His voice was quiet… but carried a strange coldness.
"And the ones who did this…"
He paused.
For the first time, a burning hatred appeared in his eyes.
"I will kill them all."
The wind began to blow harder.
As if something had heard his words.
Ren didn't look back even once.
He started walking…
alone.
That day… a child didn't die.
That day… a monster was born.
