=============================
The Abyss Plane is a plane without a physical form; the entire plane is composed of pure energy.
A man who appeared quite handsome in human form sat upon a throne. He had a pair of bewitching red eyes, and his entire being exuded a terrifying aura.
This person was none other than the ruler of the Abyss Plane, the Abyssal Sage King.
Below him, over a hundred figures stood respectfully. Every one of them exuded a powerful aura, and the lowest among them were existences at the Titled Douluo level.
Among them, a burly, fierce-looking Abyss powerhouse raised his head and asked cautiously.
"Sage King, this subordinate has something I do not understand."
The Abyssal Sage King's scarlet eyes shifted slightly, landing on that powerhouse, and he spat out a single word indifferently.
"Speak."
The powerhouse took a deep breath and gathered his courage to say.
"Sage King, are we... really going to launch an attack on that Douluo Planet at this time?"
His tone carried a hint of hesitation.
"Although that Douluo Planet looks very good, with abundant resources and plentiful energy, but..."
He paused, then continued.
"We are unable to see through that layer of mist."
"We don't know what exactly is hidden beneath the mist."
Once these words were spoken, several figures around him also nodded one after another, expressing their agreement.
Although they were eager to devour the Douluo Planet, that unknown mist indeed made them feel somewhat uneasy.
After hearing these words, the Abyssal Sage King remained silent for a moment, then let out a low laugh.
"That is only natural."
His voice carried a hint of unquestionable majesty.
"If we can devour the Douluo Planet, my strength will undergo a qualitative change."
"My Abyss Plane can also become a new Divine Realm in one fell swoop!"
As the Abyssal Sage King said this, a blazing light flashed in his scarlet eyes.
"And after I... achieve a Breakthrough, I can become a powerhouse at the God King level!"
As his voice fell, the atmosphere in the entire palace became restless.
The eyes of those Abyss powerhouses flickered with greed, as if they had already seen the day when the Abyss Plane would rise.
The Abyssal Sage King stood up and looked down at the crowd below, his voice filled with a sense of certainty.
"It is rare to encounter a planet that is suitable and not guarded by a Divine Realm."
"If we don't act now, when will we?"
His gaze swept over everyone present, his tone carrying a hint of coldness.
"Does anyone else have any objections?"
Upon hearing this, the people below lowered their heads one after another, not daring to say another word.
The Sage King's decision was not something they could question.
The Abyssal Sage King nodded in satisfaction and sat back down on the throne.
He raised his hand and spoke slowly.
"However... at the beginning, it is naturally impossible for us to directly send all our forces to attack the Douluo Planet."
"We must first scout out the true situation on the Douluo Planet."
The Abyssal Sage King's gaze landed on a figure standing in the front row.
"Black Emperor."
A tall figure walked out from the crowd, knelt on one knee, and performed a respectful salute.
"Sage King."
The Abyssal Sage King looked at him and ordered indifferently.
"Send your subordinates to scout the situation on the Douluo Planet first."
"Remember, do not alert the enemy."
The Black Emperor nodded solemnly.
"As you command."
The Abyssal Sage King looked at the others.
"The rest of you, release your energy to maintain the Void Realm passage."
"Yes!"
Everyone responded in unison, and not a single person raised an objection.
They all knew very well that the Abyssal Sage King's decision was the will of the Abyss Plane, and all they had to do was obey orders.
Soon, everyone dispersed to perform their respective duties.
Inside the palace, only the Abyssal Sage King and a figure who had been standing by his side remained.
It was the Spirit Emperor.
The Spirit Emperor watched the figures leaving, looked at the Abyssal Sage King, stepped forward, leaned close to the Abyssal Sage King, and said in a low voice.
"Sage King, this subordinate has something... I am not sure if I should say it."
The Abyssal Sage King glanced at him, a sharp glint flashing in his scarlet eyes.
"Speak."
The Spirit Emperor took a deep breath and spoke slowly.
"Sage King, isn't the exposure of that Douluo Planet... a bit too coincidental?"
His tone carried a hint of deeper meaning.
"This subordinate always feels that there is... something not quite right about this."
After hearing these words, the Abyssal Sage King did not show a surprised expression.
He just smiled indifferently, a profound light flashing in his scarlet eyes.
"I am naturally aware of this."
The Spirit Emperor was slightly stunned.
"Then, Sage King, you..."
The Abyssal Sage King waved his hand, interrupting him.
"That is why, from the beginning, I did not choose to launch a large-scale attack."
His tone carried a hint of calmness and caution.
"Especially that layer of mist..."
The Abyssal Sage King's brows furrowed slightly.
"I am unable to see through it in the slightest."
The Spirit Emperor nodded; this was also why he felt something was wrong.
"Furthermore, the mist is not wrapping around the Douluo Planet, but rather something outside the Douluo Planet."
The Spirit Emperor's pupils shrank suddenly, and countless thoughts flashed through his mind in an instant.
Outside the Douluo Planet... isn't that...
"Sage King, do you mean..."
The Abyssal Sage King nodded, a cold light flashing in his scarlet eyes.
"I suspect that what is wrapped in the mist might be a Divine Realm."
The Spirit Emperor gasped.
"A Divine Realm?"
"If it really is a Divine Realm, then wouldn't our Abyss Plane attacking the Douluo Planet be..."
However, the Abyssal Sage King's next words made him breathe a sigh of relief.
"However..."
"There are two possibilities for that mist."
The Spirit Emperor listened attentively.
The Abyssal Sage King raised a finger.
"The first possibility is that the mist is a means to block the perception of the Douluo God Realm."
"If this is the case, it means the Douluo God Realm is unaware of our existence, or rather... they are overwhelmed and cannot attend to the Douluo Planet."
The Spirit Emperor nodded, indicating he understood.
The Abyssal Sage King raised his second finger.
"The second possibility..."
His tone became somewhat subtle.
"That mist is a trap set by the Douluo God Realm."
The Spirit Emperor's pupils shrank suddenly.
"A trap?"
The Abyssal Sage King nodded.
"They deliberately used the mist to wrap around the Divine Realm so we cannot see the situation inside, and the Douluo Planet is exposed outside, hanging before our eyes like a piece of fat meat."
"Their goal is to confuse us, make us think the Douluo Planet is not protected by a Divine Realm, so we will attack with confidence, and then they will seize us and devour us directly."
"However... this possibility is much smaller. If the Douluo God Realm really wanted to use this method to trap us, they could have hidden the Divine Realm more effectively. But with that layer of mist wrapped around it, even if we cannot see the Douluo God Realm, can't we at least see that layer of mist?"
"This method of camouflage... is a bit too clumsy."
The Spirit Emperor nodded after hearing the Abyssal Sage King's judgment.
"The Sage King's words are absolutely correct."
"But regardless, I will act with caution."
The Spirit Emperor nodded and said nothing more.
Just at this moment, a figure hurried in, knelt on one knee, and said respectfully.
"Sage King, the construction of the Void Realm passage will still take a dozen days."
The Abyssal Sage King nodded, indicating he understood.
"Go."
"Yes."
The figure stood up and exited the palace.
The Abyssal Sage King stood before the throne with his hands behind his back, his scarlet eyes staring fixedly at the layer of mist in the distant Void Realm.
The corners of his mouth curled up slightly, revealing a meaningful smile.
"Douluo Planet..."
He muttered to himself.
"I would like to see what exactly is hidden beneath that mist."
The Spirit Emperor stood to the side, watching the Abyssal Sage King's back, wanting to say something but stopping.
The Abyssal Sage King seemed to feel his gaze and spoke without turning his head.
"Rest assured."
"If any risk arises, I will immediately lead the Abyss Plane to retreat."
After hearing this, the Spirit Emperor felt slightly more at ease and nodded solemnly.
"The Sage King is wise."
