Chapter 97
As Swings grabbed the microphone and the beat started, the venue was already engulfed in excitement. Even before the first verse began, people were screaming like crazy.
Seo Juhwan, being a fan of this rapper, got just as excited.
Soon after, Swings put on his signature smirk and stepped forward, and the DJ dropped the beat.
After a few verses, one more person took the stage. It was Han Yoohwan, famous for his yellow hair and looking like a monkey.
The song selection was FAKE RAPSTARS, a Han Yoohwan track with Swings on the feature.
It was the hottest song recently.
Han Yoohwan opened the song with his signature sound.
- Uno! Dos! Tres! Cuatro!
Waaaaaa!
Kyaaaa!
The moment the rap started, the atmosphere went absolutely insane.
He thought they were already crazy, but the energy just kept soaring endlessly. The song mixed an electronic sound with a rock feel, and when it met the hip-hop enthusiasts, the club resonated with booming bass.
In this moment, Seo Juhwan and Lee Junghoon forgot about women and everything else, going absolutely wild. As they got pushed around and jumped, the distance between them grew.
Seo Juhwan bumped shoulders with the stranger next to him while moving to the beat. The person was apparently a woman—with each bounce, her elastic and massive chest brushed against his body.
When the hook came, everyone in the club sang along.
The people here were all hip-hop fans from the start.
The collective chanting rose above the speaker's full volume.
- Fake rapstars, all of you shut up!
"Fake rapstars, all of you shut up!"
Not just the hook, but when Swings' feature part came and people doubled it, everyone shouted along as if their throats would tear.
- Rhyme, screw off! Rhyme, screw off!
"Rhyme, screw off! Rhyme, screw off!"
The next lyric was the highlight.
Everyone with one voice shouted the profanity-laden lyrics at the top of their lungs.
- BlackDick album now! You bitch!
"BlackDick album now! You bitch!"
After the final group chant of the hook, the short but intense performance by Swings and Han Yoohwan ended.
Seo Juhwan, who had shouted until his throat was hoarse, let out the heat that had built up inside him.
That's when the person next to him pulled him into a tight embrace. It was the woman who had been shouldering him while jumping around just moments before.
Soft. Bouncy. Squeeze.
A woman with a surprisingly broad-minded personality.
Her heart, as vast as the sea, naturally soaked his as well.
The woman holding Seo Juhwan bounced up and down.
"Kyaa! No way! Swings actually came here! We all went crazy together just now! Can you believe it?!"
Bouncy bouncy.
Squish squish.
"Y, yeah. I still can't believe it either."
The fact that such a kind heart was pressing against his chest was hard to believe.
The woman looked at him with eyes still burning with excitement and spoke.
"Right? That was insane, wasn't it?"
"Yeah. It was really amazing."
Still amazing in the present tense.
Your heart.
The woman, unaware of Seo Juhwan's thoughts, exhaled with excitement.
"Haa. I actually participated in the FAKE RAPSTARS group chant!"
'A strange woman came up and rubbed her chest against mine!'
After a moment, the woman seemed to come to her senses and suddenly pulled away in shock.
"Oh, I'm sorry! I got too excited and..."
"No, it's okay. I was excited too."
"What?"
His true feelings had slipped out.
Seo Juhwan quickly tried to calm down the something trying to perk up.
Little buddy, stay put! Don't get up this time!
He put on a genuinely moved expression, or rather, since he was genuinely moved by her heart, he could naturally appear touched.
"A live stage with Swings and Han Yoohwan? That's crazy. I never thought I'd actually get to hear it. It's actually number one on my playlist right now."
"Really? Me too! Does oppa like hip-hop?"
She casually called him oppa even though they just met. She was as sociable as she was broad-minded. Her hair was blue for some reason. It resembled the sea.
Seo Juhwan nodded. Since he actually enjoyed hip-hop quite a bit, he answered confidently without any embarrassment.
"Of course."
"Then do you know BlackDick and Kang Minho?"
The big-chested woman asked while her eyes sparkled.
At this point, she's at least a D-cup. Maybe bigger?
He struggled to keep his gaze from drifting downward, fixing it on her face as he answered.
"You mean the rappers from Show Me The Hiphop?"
"That's right! So oppa really does like hip-hop! Oppa, do you know Eminem and Kanye West?"
She asked with an excited expression, testing him again and again.
But the question was a bit strange.
When she asked if he knew BlackDick and Kang Minho from Show Me, he was too focused on the chest area to notice, but now that she's asking about Eminem and Kanye West, this is pretty embarrassing.
Is there a hip-hop fan who doesn't know those living legends?
Seo Juhwan answered positively anyway.
Since the music drowned out sound, he leaned close to her ear and whispered.
"Of course I know. I even know Eminem made a movie back in the day."
"Whoa! Really?! Our Eminem oppa was in a movie?!"
The woman asked with wide eyes.
'This girl says she likes hip-hop but doesn't know 8 Mile that Eminem made?'
It was certain.
This woman was a recent trendy hip-hop enthusiast.
"Oppa, want to hang out with us?"
The woman with blue hair that matched the sea smiled as she spoke.
"Haha, should I?"
As Seo Juhwan answered this way, a sijo poem by his teacher came to mind.
Taking the liberty of adapting it,
What of trendy hip-hop girls?
What of vacant-minded women?
What of the club's back room rumors?
What if they collapse?
Enjoy the dance vigorously,
Back out one step and that's all.
Of course, he wasn't planning to back out just one step.
