Chapter 1 - Cultivation World

Fallen Hell Country.

Among the mountains, on a small peak,

Inside a dilapidated wooden cabin, Luo feng lay on his bed, contemplating how he would survive in this world.

Waking up one morning, he suddenly found himself as Luo feng. After receiving the original body's memories, he realized he was no longer in his original world.

This world was a world of cultivators, where powerful cultivators could move mountains and overturn seas, splitting mountains with a single sword.

However, these things currently had nothing to do with Luo feng. He was just a humble Servant Disciple, who might disappear in the Cultivation World any day without even a ripple.

No one cared about the lives of Servant Disciple, especially within a Demonic Path Sect like the Ghost Control Sect.

The place he was currently in was a small market town under the Ghost Control Sect. Because it had a good Spiritual Vein, the Ghost Control Sect permanently stationed several Foundation Establishment Cultivators here.

The original body was merely a Servant Disciple recruited by the Ghost Control Sect from the market town to help manage the Spiritual Fields.

But there were still benefits. At the very least, he didn't have to pay rent, and the safety was much higher. Generally, few cultivators would provoke the Ghost Control Sect, and this identity in the market town was considered a stable job in the hearts of many cultivators.

If the original body hadn't been skilled at caring for Spiritual Plants, he might not have even had the chance to become a Servant Disciple of the Ghost Control Sect.

Loose Cultivators in the market town, for example, were much more miserable. Not only did they have to pay rent every month, but their safety was also not high. They could very likely be killed by powerful individuals for their treasures.

As for why the original body knew this so clearly, it was because he had been one of them before, living in constant fear, afraid that he would die in some unknown corner one day.

Thump. Thump.

"Luo feng, get up. It's time to tend to the Spirit Medicine. Otherwise, if Manager Li finds out, you'll definitely get an earful."

"Coming, coming." Luo feng immediately responded. It had been almost three days since his transmigration, and he was slowly adapting to life here.

Luo feng quickly opened the door. Standing before him was a brawny man with a resolute face and slightly dark skin.

"Brother Hu, thank you for the reminder. I almost delayed it," Luo feng thanked the brawny man.

"Luo feng, what's wrong with you? You used to get up quite early. These past few days, you seem to be in poor spirits. Are you feeling unwell?" the brawny man asked.

"No, no, I'm fine. Let's go," Luo feng brushed him off with a few words.

In the original body's memory, this person was named Li Hu, one of the original body's few good friends. The two were jointly responsible for managing two acres of Spiritual Fields.

Therefore, they were quite familiar with each other on a daily basis. Fortunately, Luo feng had the original body's memories, so he didn't expose himself.

After arriving near the Spiritual Fields, Luo feng picked up two large wooden buckets, one meter tall and wide, and went to fetch water. The Spirit Medicine here had to be watered daily, and it had to be water containing Spiritual Qi.

Otherwise, it would affect their growth, and if the harvest was poor, both of them would be punished.

Luo feng laboriously carried two large buckets of water from a pond.

"Damn it, why isn't this pond closer? It takes over half an hour to go back and forth."

Luo feng sat on the ground to rest for a while before beginning to tend to the Spirit Medicine. This was Spirit Cleansing Herb, the main Spirit Medicine for refining first-grade Low Grade Spirit Cleansing Pill.

It ripened twice a year.

This batch in front of him was estimated to be ready in another two months, so he had to be careful.

Loosening the soil, removing damaged leaves, and finally watering.

It took an entire morning, and Luo feng had only managed to do a small portion.

Li Hu, on the other hand, was almost finished. He formed hand seals, and a small dark cloud immediately formed above the Spiritual Fields. Soon, light rain slowly fell onto the Spirit Cleansing Herb.

Immediately, the Spirit Cleansing Herb seemed to grow even more luxuriantly.

Luo feng felt a bit envious. If only he could master the Spirit Rain Technique, he wouldn't have to carry water back and forth every day.

This would save a lot of time for Cultivation.

Unfortunately, casting the Spirit Rain Technique required at least Qi Refining Stage Three, and he was only at Qi Refining Stage Two. He wondered when he would be able to breakthrough to Qi Refining Stage Three.

"Luo feng, I'm leaving first," Li Hu greeted Luo feng and left the Spiritual Fields. His portion was finished in one morning.

"Okay, Brother Hu."

Li Hu was almost thirty years old, while Luo feng was only in his twenties. He was much older than Luo feng, and Li Hu usually took good care of the original body.

The original body always called him Brother Hu, and Luo feng naturally wouldn't change the address.

Li Hu's Cultivation was a bit stronger than the original body's, reaching Qi Refining Stage Three, but he had only recently made the breakthrough. According to Li Hu, he used to be a martial artist in the mortal world.

He entered the Cultivation World by chance. He started Cultivating relatively late, which was why he was only at Qi Refining Stage Three at around thirty years old.

In fact, their Aptitude was similar; both were Four Spiritual Roots. The original body had water, wood, earth, and fire, with the water-attribute Spiritual Root reaching 33 points, barely qualifying as Low Grade Aptitude.

Luo feng wasn't very clear about Li Hu's specific Aptitude, but he guessed it was also around Low Grade. If it were Medium Grade, he wouldn't be at Qi Refining Stage Three now.

According to the original body's memories, Aptitude in the Cultivation World was divided into Supreme Grade, High Grade, Medium Grade, Low Grade, and the extremely rare Heavenly Grade, also known as Heavenly Spiritual Root.

Heavenly Spiritual Root was a darling of heaven, with no Bottleneck in Cultivation all the way to the Golden Core stage. If one had such aptitude, they could probably become a True Disciple of the Ghost Control Sect.

Luo feng shook the mud off his hands, stopping these unrealistic fantasies.

Forget about Heavenly Grade Aptitude; even Medium Grade was considered good enough to become an Outer Sect Disciple of the Ghost Control Sect.

He still needed to quickly finish tending to the Spirit Medicine, or the manager would definitely make him suffer.

In severe cases, he might even lose his life.

The number of Servant Disciple who lost their lives each year was not small, especially cultivators like Luo feng, who had neither talent nor background.

Luo feng checked the sky; it was already midday. He had been busy since morning and hadn't eaten anything.

His stomach had been growling for a long time. Luo feng stopped his movements and tidied himself up a bit.

He walked into his small wooden cabin and took out a few pieces of dry food from inside. These were bought by the original body earlier.

The main ingredient of this dry food was a first-grade Low Grade Spiritual Rice called Spirit Sprout Rice, combined with some medicinal herbs.

Although simple, the price was not cheap. Most of the Spirit Stone earned by the original body were spent on this.

However, it was quite suitable for low-level cultivators like Luo feng. After eating a few dry food cakes, Luo feng felt his physical strength recover quite a bit, and even his magic power increased slightly.

It was just too minuscule; without careful perception, it was impossible to notice.

Perhaps due to the superposition of two Souls, Luo feng felt his perception was much stronger than before.
