The atmosphere inside Zhen Group changed the moment Chen Kai delivered the news.
Han Wei's men had entered the city.
Liang Zhen didn't waste a second. He grabbed his coat and headed for the door.
Chen Kai followed immediately.
"You're going yourself?" Chen Kai asked.
"Yes."
"You know this could be a trap."
Liang Zhen stopped briefly and looked at him.
"If Han Wei is really here, I'm not letting him walk around my territory freely."
His voice was calm, but the authority of an Alpha was clear.
Chen Kai sighed.
"Fine. I'm coming too."
Inside the office, Mei Lin watched them leave through the glass wall. Something about their expressions made her uneasy.
It felt like the beginning of a storm.
Meanwhile, near the Huangpu River, several black cars were parked in an empty industrial area.
Han Wei stood beside one of them, calmly observing the skyline of Shanghai.
His sharp eyes were filled with quiet ambition.
"Beautiful city," he said slowly.
One of his men stepped closer.
"Alpha, Liang Zhen's pack has been spotted nearby."
Han Wei smiled faintly.
"Of course they have."
He turned just as another car approached.
The door opened.
Liang Zhen stepped out.

Chen Kai stepped out beside Liang Zhen, crossing his arms.
"Well," Chen Kai muttered, "this reunion looks fun."
Han Wei chuckled.
"Liang Zhen. Still protecting your little kingdom."
Liang Zhen's expression remained cold.
"You shouldn't be in my city."
Han Wei shrugged casually.
"Cities don't belong to anyone."
"They do," Liang Zhen replied calmly. "When an Alpha claims them."
For a moment neither moved.
The tension between them was intense.
Finally Han Wei tilted his head slightly.
"I heard an interesting rumor recently."
Liang Zhen didn't react.
"About an Alpha heir."
Chen Kai's expression tightened.
Han Wei's smile widened slightly.
"A rare thing, don't you think?"
Liang Zhen's eyes darkened.
"You came here for gossip?"
"No," Han Wei said softly.
"I came for power."
Without warning, one of Han Wei's men suddenly lunged forward.
The movement was fast, but Liang Zhen was faster.
In the blink of an eye, his eyes flashed gold.
His body shifted instantly.
Clothes tore as his wolf form appeared.
A massive dark wolf landed on the ground with a powerful growl.
Chen Kai transformed as well, his grey wolf stepping forward beside the Alpha.
Han Wei watched with amusement before transforming himself.
His wolf was larger than most, with thick silver fur and glowing eyes.
The empty industrial area suddenly turned into a battlefield.
Growls echoed through the night as wolves clashed violently.
Claws scraped against concrete.
Teeth snapped in the darkness.
Chen Kai tackled one of Han Wei's men while Liang Zhen faced Han Wei directly.
The two powerful Alphas circled each other slowly.
Han Wei smirked even in wolf form.
Liang Zhen didn't hesitate.
He attacked first.
The two wolves collided with tremendous force, sending dust flying across the ground.
For several seconds they fought fiercely, their strength nearly equal.

The thought made his wolf stronger.
With a powerful strike, Liang Zhen forced Han Wei backward.
Han Wei slid across the ground before regaining balance.
He let out a low laugh.
"Interesting," he said in his human voice after shifting back slightly.
Liang Zhen remained in wolf form, eyes burning with warning.
Han Wei brushed dust from his jacket.
"This fight isn't over," he said calmly.
He looked directly at Liang Zhen.
"Sooner or later… I'll find the Alpha heir."
Liang Zhen's growl shook the air.
Han Wei only smiled before stepping back toward his car.
"Until next time."
The cars drove away, disappearing into the city lights.
Chen Kai shifted back to human form, breathing heavily.
"Well," he said, rubbing his neck, "that could've gone worse."
Liang Zhen slowly returned to human form as well.
His expression was darker than before.
Han Wei now knew too much.
And if he found Mei Lin and Liang Rui first…
The next battle wouldn't just be about territory.
