Everyone immediately turned toward Emily in shock.
Even the guards instinctively stepped backward. The way her body bent unnaturally, the violent trembling, the strange pressure suddenly surrounding her—
It looked exactly like possession.
CeCe's heart nearly stopped. "Emily?!" she cried and tried rushing toward her, but Damon immediately held her arm.
"Wait."
CeCe looked at him furiously. "Wait for what?!"
Emily suddenly screamed again. "AHHH!" Her voice echoed across the entire cave territory.
Several tribe members covered their ears painfully.
Then strange sounds started escaping Emily's mouth.
Unfamiliar Whispers. Soft bells. Voices speaking over one another. It sounded like hundreds of people were talking inside her head at the same time.
CeCe felt chills cover her body instantly. Emily grabbed her own head harder.
"Too loud…" she whimpered painfully. "Too loud…"
Then suddenly. Her fox ears disappeared.
