"What's up, Arya? Could you visit Vael early tomorrow and make him breakfast?" Theon typed on his phone.
He was halfway through typing another message when his phone vibrated.
"Sure. But is there a problem? Vael told me not to bother abiut his meals a few days ago."
"It's nothing to worry about." Theon typed.
"Okay. I will be there tomorrow."
A small breath escaped him.
"Thank you."
He typed back before dropping his phone into his pocket.
The living room was quiet except for the low hum of the television playing something he wasn't paying attention to. Since he got back from the office, his attention kept drifting to Vael.
Theon rubbed the back of his neck and pushed himself up from the couch. The doorbell rang. He frowned almost immediately. At this hour? He wasn't expecting anyone. Ares was away in Africa. Ryan wasn't supposed to arrive until tomorrow.
