Chapter 8 - The Unwelcome Guests

Dinner that night was punctuated by an announcement from Mei. "Your Aunt Hua will be dropping off Ming and Hao tomorrow morning," she said, addressing Li and Wei. "She has to go to the city for a few days for some work, so the boys will stay with us."

Wei grunted his assent, his eyes already glazing over as he retreated into the post-work fog that was his constant state. Li, however, felt a flicker of irritation. Ming and Hao. His two cousins, a pair of twenty-somethings who had always struck him as slick and overly familiar. They were the type who were always all over their aunts, their hands lingering a little too long, their compliments a little too smooth.

The next morning, the doorbell rang early. Li watched from the doorway of the living room as his mother opened the door. His aunt Hua made a quick departure, and the two cousins were already moving in, their faces lit with predatory joy.

"Auntie Mei!" they chorused in unison, moving in for a hug. They didn't wait for an invitation. Ming, the taller one, wrapped his arms around her, lifting her slightly off the ground in a boisterous embrace. Hao followed immediately, pressing in close from the side, his face buried in her hair for a moment. They were like a pair of dogs greeting their master, and Mei laughed, swatting at them playfully.

"Alright, alright, put me down, you rascals!" she giggled, her voice lighter than Li had heard it in weeks.

Li's initial annoyance began to curdle into something else. He saw the way their eyes roamed over her body, the same way his did, but with a crude, open hunger that lacked his subtle patience. He saw Ming's gaze drop directly to her chest, and Hao's eyes flick down to her legs. And strangely, he felt no jealousy. Instead, a dark, voyeuristic arousal began to stir in his gut. He was a scientist, and his mother was his experiment. These two were just new, unpredictable variables in the controlled environment he had so carefully cultivated. He wanted to see how his corrupted specimen would react to outside stimuli.

Mei was dressed differently today. She was wearing a simple, plain T-shirt, but it was one of Li's favorites—snug enough to clearly define the heavy, soft shape of her breasts and the gentle curve of her stomach. Her shorts were a bit shorter than her usual lounge-wear, ending high on her thighs, showcasing the smooth, toned expanse of her legs. It was an outfit she never would have worn a few months ago. Li knew, with a thrill, that she had worn it for him. But now, his cousins were reaping the benefits.

The morning unfolded like a play written for Li's private enjoyment. As Mei bustled around the kitchen making breakfast, Ming adopted his usual tactic. He followed her, his movements seemingly aimless, but Li knew exactly what he was doing. He positioned himself behind her, leaning against the counter whenever she stopped, his eyes fixed on the way her shorts pulled taut across her full, rounded ass every time she bent over to pull a pan from a low cabinet. He was staring, openly and unashamedly, devouring the sight.

Hao, meanwhile, was the verbal aggressor. He leaned against the counter opposite her, a lazy smirk on his face.

"Auntie Mei, you're not aging, you're just getting more delicious," he said, his voice a smooth, practiced purr.

Mei's cheeks flushed, but she laughed, a little too brightly. "Hao, you and your nonsense. Your mouth is as sweet as this congee."

"I'm just stating a fact," he insisted. "I bet all the uncles in the neighborhood are fighting over who gets to help you carry your groceries."

Li watched, fascinated. Before his campaign, such a comment would have earned a stern "Don't be disrespectful" and a quick change of subject. Now, she was blushing and playing along. The system was working. His corruption was making her receptive to all male attention, not just his.

"Maybe you two should help me with breakfast instead of just standing there looking handsome," Mei teased, her eyes sparkling with a mischief Li had never seen before.

"Oh, we'd love to, Auntie," Ming chimed in from behind her, finally tearing his eyes away from her backside. "But we might get distracted. It's hard to focus on cooking with a masterpiece standing right next to you."

He reached out as if to grab a bowl, but his arm brushed deliberately against the side of her breast. Mei flinched, a tiny, almost imperceptible shudder, but she didn't pull away. She just bit her lower lip, her breath catching for a second.

Li's arousal was a physical thing now, a hot, heavy weight in his groin. He watched as his mother, his innocent, pure mother, blushed and giggled under the crude, overt flirting of his cousins. He watched them hug her again as they sat down to eat, their hands resting a little too low on her back. He should have been furious, possessive. Instead, he was incredibly, darkly turned on. His work was being validated. She was becoming a woman who enjoyed being desired, a woman who thrived on male attention. He had created this. And as he watched Hao lean in to whisper something in her ear that made her laugh and swat his arm, Li knew that this was only the beginning. The game had just gotten a lot more interesting.
