Luna Valdez knew her day was cursed the moment she woke up late.
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!"
She shot up from bed, hair a complete disaster, her phone flashing 8:47 AM.
Her class started at 9:00.
"Great. Just great. First, my alarm betrays me, now I'm going to fail my presentation. Amazing."
She rushed through everything—half-brushed teeth, mismatched shoes, and a bag that definitely didn't contain her notes.
As she sprinted across campus—

She slammed straight into someone.
Her papers flew everywhere.
