A golden ray of sunlight shined through a cabin in the woods, through the window lays a boy with red hair, who just now is stirring in bed despite the calls from the other room.
From the other room, he can faintly hear his grandpa yelling "James, you'd better get your ass out here before I drag you out myself!"
From the other room, James groggily yells "I'll be there in a sec, alright?"
As James leaves his bedroom and enters the space where his grandpa had been hollering for him, a confused look washes over his face
His grandpa then looks even more annoyed, responding with "Your friend left early since you took so damn long to wake up."
James quickly dashes out of the door to try catching up with his lifelong best friend
Minutes later, James catches sight of his friend's dark black hair and yells out "Aaron, slow down!"
Aaron, who is walking at a very leisurely pace then responds with "Wow, you really woke up? Didn't expect to see the day"
James, clearly winded keeps trying to run towards Aaron who has no intention of slowing down.
James then asks, clearly confused "So why'd you leave today? the Knight Exam isn't for another 4 days."
Aaron, clearly disappointed in his friends intelligence says "Yeah, but the capital is a 3 day walk from here so we need to leave early"
