Chapter 19 - Chapter 19

Meanwhile, Roman gripped Jane's hips, thrusting into her as she held onto the table and let out an erotic moan filled with pleasure. Roman's trousers were around his ankles. He wanted more of her, thrusting deeper, and Jane was overwhelmed with pleasure. She couldn't help but want more as he drove into her, making the papers on his desk to fall. She was a moaning mess, and Roman was glad the room was soundproof.

Her hair was disheveled across the table as he thrust deep, drawing another sensual moan from her. Pleasure coiled inside Jane, her stomach pressed against the desk as Roman kept thrusting. Satisfied, he filled her womb with his cum, then pulled out and inhaled a satisfied breath. He looked at Jane's bare ass pressed against his table as Roman didn't stop. He kept pounding into Jane, dominating her with a rhythm that stole her breath, and she liked it — God, she liked it. When they finally came crashing down together, he was so good, so deep, that he spilled his release inside her with a shuddering groan, he adjusted his trousers.

Jane, resting against the table, felt satisfied but weak — she could barely move after the way he'd fucked her so intensely. She summoned the strength to get up. Roman had pulled his trousers back on. She felt exposed with her pussy still bare, then pulled up her panties. Roman saw and felt a flash of greed, but he walked toward the door instead, wanting to check if the room smelled like sex. Anyone could step in and notice, but the door was already locked.

Jane adjusted her clothes. Roman came toward her with a cool, casual vibe.

"I hope you're still able to work," he said, giving her a probing look. Jane blushed. He was right — she could.

"I can, she said and he gave a nod of acknowledgement.

Jane had enjoyed the sex because it was him.

"I had a good time." She said, Her face was heated up.

"I did enjoy the sex," he said. A smile grazed his lips, his eyes twinkling with mirth looking at her.

Jane blushed.

"I should leave," she said.

"Sure," he said simply.

She took her leave, her chest buzzing with the lingering thrill of what they'd just done. A part of her couldn't help but expect his next move—a subtle push, an invitation, something that signaled he was going to pursue her.

The heavy oak door clicked shut, leaving Roman alone in the quiet expanse of his office. Roman sank back into his chair. Pulling a bottle of cologne from his desk drawer, he misted the air with a few sharp bursts. Within seconds, the heavy haze in the room gave way to a clean, distinctly masculine scent.

He pulled his leather executive chair forward, leaning back into the cushions as the silence settled around him. The lingering scent of her perfume still drifted in the air, but his mind remained completely calm—no racing pulse, no sudden onset of emotional complications.

In truth, the drive behind the entire encounter had been simple: he had been aching to taste her pussy, to finally know how she felt around him. Now he knew. It was a straightforward transaction of mutual gratification—a clean give-and-take between two consenting adults who knew the score.

He stared out at the city skyline for a brief moment, unbothered and clear-headed. He wasn't in love with Jane, nor did he harbor any hidden romantic feelings waiting to surface. There would be no middle-of-the-night texts, no romantic pursuits, and no shifting boundaries. He had zero interest in chasing her or turning a functional friends-with-benefits setup into something complicated.

Satisfied, Roman drew himself closer to the desk, clicked his pen, and opened the folder resting in front of him. The itch had been scratched, his curiosity satisfied, and now it was simply time to get back to work.

Jane made her way down the hallway toward her office, a sudden wave of panic creeping in. Did she smell like sex? She pulled her collar up to inhale her shirt, worried that anyone passing by might catch a whiff and figure it out. Forcing herself to adopt a neutral, composed stride, she quickened her pace without looking rushed.

Once safely inside her own office, she slipped into her chair and took a proper breath. Her fears were confirmed—the faint, unmistakable scent of what had just happened between her and Roman clung to her skin. Opening her bag, she pulled out a bottle of perfume and sprayed herself thoroughly, drowning out the lingering evidence of their encounter.

With the sharp floral scent of her perfume settling around her, Jane leaned back against her chair and took a slow, grounding breath. The physical evidence was covered, but her mind was still racing back to Roman's office.

Her skin still prickled with the aftershocks of his touch, but underneath the residual buzz, a restless anticipation was taking over.

Now that they'd crossed that line, everything had changed. Or had it?

She stared at the closed door of her office, half-expecting her phone to light up with a text or to hear a knock at any second from Roman. What was his next move? Roman wasn't a man who did anything by accident. That encounter wasn't just a sudden burst of passion—it was deliberate, loaded. Surely he wouldn't just brush it off as a one-time slip-up. He had to pursue her now. He had to make a real play for her.

Yet, a sharp twist of reality flickered in her chest. What if that was all it was to him? The thought made her face flush hotter than the memory of his hands on her skin. She remembered the way he had casually said he enjoyed the sex like that wasn't his first time, she knew It was a straightforward transaction of mutual gratification—a clean give-and-take between her and Roman.

Jane folded her arms, trying to calm the nervous flutter in her stomach. She refused to look desperate or go running back to him. If Roman wanted to use her, she was fine she had benefited from the pleasure. But as she tried to focus on the documents on her desk, every fiber of her attention stayed locked on their next encounter, waiting for him to make his move.

That afternoon, In the living room, Fred sat wearing his spectacles, resting on the couch as he worked on his tablet.

Priscilla had her breakfast and sipped her cinnamon tea. She felt annoyed with Aaron, her son, and his wife. She didn't like that Aaron wasn't even considerate about his family.

In the changing room at the bookstore, Elsa wore her work attire. She stood close to the door, which was scored with shelves of books, and thought about the money she'd been getting from Jordin.

He paid her extremly well — enough for her expenses and enough for school. She'd planning to apply for college and Elsa wasn't pleased with herself for the dirty things she was doing for the money, not even a little proud but the idea of going to college made her hopeful.

During the weekends, On the city streets, there was a decent café with a cool vibe. People were inside conversing; someone was busy on his laptop. Roman sat close to the window with Silas.

"I'm glad Matteo found his match," Roman said, blunt. Mateo was one of their friends, he had found the woman he wanted in his life.

"Yeah," Silas responded. Roman drank his coffee. He felt glad he wasn't in a relationship — he knew it would be a lot.

"I should head to his place in a few hours," Roman said, looking at Silas.

"I have something to take care of," Silas informed him. Supplies for his shop not accompanying Roman. Silas wanted to busy himself since he preferred that.

"Very well," Roman said. Silas ate his cookies along with his tea.

"I should check in with the guys. It's been a while," Roman said.

It had surely been some time hanging out the rest of his other friend who were also friends with Roman. For some reason, Silas was grateful to have Roman as a close friend. Time had passed, they had each other, he thought.

Both parties left the shop after finishing their meal. The plate of cookies was empty, one drink finished, the other a quarter full, as they headed to their cars.
