Riyad is no longer the same.
When people saw him in the morning, there was a strange emptiness in his eyes. The most terrifying thing—he had no shadow.
The people of the city started keeping their distance. Because they know, someone without a shadow… is no longer fully human.
Riyad could feel it too. Something inside him had changed. He looked into the mirror—his face was normal, but deep in his eyes, darkness had begun to grow.
Suddenly, he heard a whisper.
"Find us…"
Riyad froze. There was no one around. Yet the voice seemed to come from inside his own head.
That night, he went out again.
This time, the city felt even stranger. The air was heavy, the streets empty… and in the distance, a thick black fog was forming.
He slowly walked toward it.
Then suddenly—he saw a door.
A door that had never been there before.
On it, words were written—
"The Shadow Realm"
Riyad realized—this was the place where his shadow had gone.
He slowly opened the door…
As he stepped inside, he saw a dark world where everything felt reversed. There was no light, yet everything was visible.
And there… thousands of shadows were wandering.
Suddenly, one shadow came and stood in front of him.
Riyad recognized it—
It was his own shadow!
The shadow spoke slowly,
"You came back… but this time, you cannot return alone."
Riyad asked in a trembling voice, "Then what do I have to do?"
The shadow replied,
"You must choose one shadow… and send it back in your place."
Riyad was shocked.
That means… to survive, he must trap another shadow in this dark world!
All around him, the shadows were staring… as if waiting to see who he would choose.
Riyad felt dizzy.
Will he sacrifice someone else to save himself?
Or… will he stay trapped in this darkness forever?
