I was ripped right out of my sleep by the sound of lots bangs on my door, and my eyes flew open, darting around in shock.
"What the fuck?" I gritted underneath my breath, my body protesting with pain as I sat up, my eyes zeroing in on the door where those knocks were coming off from.
For some reason, I was certain it wasn't any of the harem women knocking right now. Irritation spread through my veins and I matched forward, yanking the door open.
"What do you want?" I demanded, staring between the bunch of maids standing in my doorway right now.
They all gave me scalding looks, scoffing in disgust. "Lady violet has sent for you."
I tolled my eyss and folded my arms. "Well, go tell her that I'm not interested in coming." I informed them, slamming the door tight in their faces.
