"Keifer, stop acting like a stubborn child and come with me," I said and started pulling Keifer.
"I said I won't come."
"Keifer, come with me."
"No," he said.
"You don't love me, right? Then why are you here? Why do you care? Either I die or not, that's none of your concern. Go. Go enjoy your life with Jason."
"Oh yeah… you kissed him, right? Then why are you here? He definitely wouldn't like you being here with me. Go to your Jason. You love him, right? So go. Don't think about—"
Before Keifer could utter another word, I kissed him.
After that, I looked directly into his eyes.
"Stop saying that. I only love you."
"What…?" he said, totally confused and on the verge of passing out because of all the alcohol.
"I love you and only you, Keifer."
A drop of tear fell from the corner of my eye.
"I'll explain everything… why I lied to you. But please, I request you… I'll explain everything. Please come with me."
"No. Tell me why you lied, Jay. This is no joke."
"Keifer, please…"
"Not here."
"I promise I'll tell you everything. But not here. Let's go home first."
"No, Jay—"
"Please, Keifer…"
"Okay."
Before we could stand, white smoke suddenly started coming from all directions.
"Keifer…"
"Jay…"
"We have to get out."
I grabbed his hand and tried to pull him toward the exit.
But the smoke was becoming thicker.
My vision started getting blurry.
"Keifer, stay with me…"
I could feel my body becoming weaker.
Then I heard a strange sound somewhere behind us.
Someone was there.
Someone had released the smoke.
I tried to look back, but I couldn't see anything clearly.
"Keifer…"
His hand slipped from mine.
I reached for him.
And then everything went black.
Neither of us knew what had happened.
Neither of us knew who had released the smoke.
And neither of us knew where we would wake up.
