**Chapter 409: New Allegiances**
**Dagon's POV**
**Lianna Star System – Sienar Shipyards**
I stood on the observation deck of the main Sienar facility, watching six sleek new Allegiance-class battlecruisers depart the system in perfect formation. Their sharp, angular hulls gleamed under the system's sun, a testament to the materials we had salvaged from Malachor V. Beside them, the first hull sections for my new project — the Nebula-class Star Destroyer — were already being laid down. Twenty-five in total.
I turned to Raith, the Sienar representative standing next to me.
"It has a sharp, angular design often mistaken for an Allegiance ship," I explained, "but it lacks the traditional elevated command tower, creating a smoother superstructure."
Raith studied the holographic schematics floating between us. "Yeah, it looks powerful."
I continued. "The armament of the Nebula-class Star Destroyer consists of 80 heavy turbolaser batteries, 40 turbolaser cannons, 20 ion cannons, 8 tractor beam projectors, 8 assault concussion missile tubes each equipped with 30 missiles, and 100 point-defense cannons. That gives it huge firepower."
I brought up the full specifications:
- **Length**: 1,840 meters
- **Hyperdrive rating**: Class 1.0 (main), Class 10 (backup)
- **Power output**: Peak >9.28 × 10²⁴ (solar ionization reactor)
- **Shielding**: Equipped
- **Sensor systems**: Equipped
- **Targeting systems**: Equipped
- **Navigation system**: Navigation computer equipped
- **Complement**: 60 starfighters, 12 transports
- **Escape craft**: Equipped
- **Crew**: 8,795 crew + 244 gunners
- **Minimum crew**: 3,265
- **Passengers**: 3,600 troops
- **Cargo capacity**: 15,000 metric tons
- **Consumables**: 6 months
- **Communication systems**: Equipped
"The design also incorporates a system of lateral thrust vents to increase the ship's maneuverability," I added, "giving it far greater agility than most large capital ships."
Raith nodded appreciatively. "So I think with all the materials we got, Dagon, we could build it within two to three months."
"That is a good timeline," I said. "But remember — keep this hidden from Kuat. Any spies."
"Don't worry, we've got this covered." Raith smiled. "Anyway, you wanted to introduce me to someone?"
"Yep."
**Scene 2**
Thirty thousand Ugnaughts marched out of several Republic transport ships in disciplined columns. Their short, stocky forms moved with surprising efficiency, tools already slung over shoulders as they surveyed the shipyard.
"I rescued them from Zygerria," I told Raith. "So they said I now have a life debt from them. Their homeworld Gentes is under CIS rule and will not be taken soon, so could you give them work?"
Raith raised an eyebrow, studying the sturdy aliens. "The stories of Ugnaughts' skill with smithing droids are legendary. We know that Ugnaughts are considered the hardest-working species in the galaxy."
I nodded. "Exactly. They're reliable, loyal, and they hate slavers as much as I do. Give them honest work and fair pay, and they'll repay you tenfold."
One of the Ugnaught elders approached, bowing low. "Lord Dagon saved us from chains. We serve the one who freed us. Whatever you need built, we will build it better than anyone else in the galaxy."
Raith smiled. "Welcome to Sienar. We have plenty of work for skilled hands. The Nebula project will need expert welders and engineers."
The Ugnaught elder's eyes lit up. "We will make your ships legends."
As the Ugnaughts dispersed into the shipyard, Raith turned to me. "You keep surprising me, General. First the Malachor salvage, now an entire workforce of grateful Ugnaughts. At this rate, Sienar might actually outpace Kuat."
I allowed a small smile. "That's the idea. Keep the new designs compartmentalized. The Nebula-class is for my personal fleet first. Once proven, we can scale up."
Raith nodded. "Understood. The Allegiance-class ships are already performing beyond expectations. The Nebula will be something special."
We watched the shipyard bustle for a moment longer. Massive gantries moved into place over the first Nebula hull. Sparks flew as welding began.
"This war is changing everything," Raith said quietly. "And you're at the center of it."
I stared at the growing fleet. "Someone has to be."
The future was taking shape — one salvaged hull, one grateful worker, one new design at a time.
Ryloth awaited.
And with it, the next step toward ending this war.
