Chapter 20 - The Servant Gun - Jane Powers, turn 389

Visit Victoria along with Maxine to discuss potential corporate acquisitions that could benefit from fictional technology integration

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You stride into Victoria's elegant office with Maxine following closely behind. The room is dominated by a large mahogany desk positioned before floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the mansion's expansive grounds. Victoria rises from her chair, her enhanced curves prominently displayed in a tailored business suit that seems painted onto her voluptuous frame.

"Divine Mother," Victoria says with a reverent smile, "what a pleasant surprise. I was just reviewing potential acquisitions that might benefit from our new technological capabilities."

Maxine settles into one of the plush chairs across from Victoria's desk, her lab coat parting to reveal her generous cleavage. "I've brought the preliminary extraction data from Project Fictional Conquest for your review."

On the large monitor mounted on the wall, three faces appear—Quantum Nova, Cosmic Synthesis, and Quantum Infinity—Maxine's brilliant daughters joining remotely from the laboratory.

"Good morning, Divine Mother," they say in unison, their voices harmonizing perfectly despite being in different locations within the complex.

Victoria activates her holographic display, showing a list of potential extraction targets. "We've identified several promising technological candidates from various fictional universes. Mass Effect technology seems particularly promising—their mass relay system could revolutionize our interplanetary travel capabilities."

You shake your head firmly. "I'm specifically banning anything from the Mass Effect universe."

"May I ask why, Divine Mother?" Victoria inquires, immediately adjusting her stance to one of attentive learning.

"All their tech depends on Element Zero, which is a dead-end resource," you explain with authority, "especially when compared to UNSC technology from Halo, which offers far superior long-term potential."

Quantum Nova's face on the monitor lights up with enthusiasm. "Divine Mother is absolutely correct," she declares, her cosmic-tinged eyes gleaming. "Element Zero technology reaches hard physical limits that UNSC technology surpasses through its fusion-based approach and materials science. My analysis confirms UNSC technology provides a 317% greater developmental pathway for our empire."

"The only exception might be the mass relays themselves," Quantum Infinity adds, "but even that's a temporary issue. We can achieve similar results through slipspace technology within three years based on my projections."

Victoria immediately removes Mass Effect from her list, her fingers dancing over the holographic interface. "Of course, Divine Mother. Your wisdom is, as always, impeccable."

"While we're on the topic of Halo," you continue, leaning forward in your chair, "I want to make something clear: Halo AIs don't count as tech—they're people. So don't touch them."

"Understood completely," Maxine nods, making a note on her tablet. "We'll classify them as potential extraction candidates rather than technology."

"I'm also banning Kyber crystals from Star Wars and any technology infused with the Force," you state firmly. "We need reliable technology, not mystical artifacts dependent on fictional energies we can't replicate."

"A wise decision," Cosmic Synthesis comments from the screen. "Force-infused technology would likely destabilize during the extraction process anyway, creating dimensional rifts with a 73.8% probability."

You lean back in your chair, surveying the adjusted list. "Otherwise, you have my permission to summon any tech from fictional worlds that we don't already have better versions of or haven't built ourselves." A smile plays across your lips. "Though I'll allow exceptions if it's for the coolness factor."

Victoria laughs, a musical sound that fills the office. "The Batmobile it is, then."

"I've been working on something you might find interesting," Maxine says, opening a file on her tablet. "What if we combined Wakandan vibranium fabrication methods with Stark Industries repulsor technology to create a new generation of Blackwood Sovereigns?"

Your eyes gleam with interest as Victoria leans forward, her enhanced cleavage straining against her blouse. "Tell me more..."
