Chapter 1: The Last Goodbye
Rain was falling heavily that evening.
Aria stood under the dim streetlight, her heart beating fast as she waited. Her hands were cold… not because of the rain, but because of fear.
"Will he come…?" she whispered to herself.
Just then, a car stopped in front of her.
He stepped out.
Kael.
The same person who once promised her forever.
But today… something felt different.
He didn't smile.
He didn't even look at her properly.
Aria felt her chest tighten. "Kael… what happened? Why did you call me here?"
There was silence.
Only the sound of rain between them.
Then finally, he spoke—
"We need to end this."
Those words hit harder than anything.
Aria froze. "What…?"
"I can't do this anymore," Kael said, his voice cold. "This relationship… it's over."
Tears instantly filled her eyes.
"No… this is not funny. Stop joking…" she said, her voice shaking.
"I'm not joking."
Her world broke in that moment.
"Why…?" she asked softly.
Kael looked away.
"There's someone else."
Everything went silent.
Aria felt like she couldn't breathe.
All those memories… all those promises… everything suddenly felt like a lie.
"You said… you loved me…" she whispered.
"I did."
"Then what changed?"
Kael didn't answer.
That silence… was her answer.
A tear rolled down her cheek, mixing with the rain.
"Okay…" she said slowly, trying to stay strong.
"If this is what you want… I won't stop you."
Kael looked at her, surprised.
But Aria just smiled weakly.
A broken smile.
"Take care," she said.
And with that… she turned and walked away.
Each step felt heavy.
Each step felt like losing a part of herself.
But she didn't look back.
Because deep inside… she knew—
The person she loved was already gone.
Chapter 2: The Pain After (Extended Version)
The rain didn't stop that night.
Neither did Aria's tears.
She walked aimlessly through the empty streets, her mind completely blank, her heart unbearably heavy. Every step felt like a burden, as if her own body didn't want to move forward anymore.
"How did everything end so suddenly…?" she whispered.
Just a few hours ago, she still had someone.
Now… she had no one.
Her thoughts kept replaying the same moment again and again.
"We need to end this."
"There's someone else."
Those words echoed in her mind like a never-ending nightmare.
Aria pressed her hand against her chest, trying to calm the pain.
But it didn't go away.
It only got worse.
She stopped under a streetlight, the yellow light falling softly around her.
Memories started flooding in.
The first time they met.
The first time he held her hand.
The promises he made.
"I'll always stay with you."
A broken laugh escaped her lips.
"Always…?" she muttered.
"Then why did you leave me so easily…?"
Her legs slowly gave up, and she sat down on the cold roadside, hugging her knees tightly.
For the first time… she didn't try to be strong.
She cried.
Not softly.
Not silently.
But like someone who had truly lost everything.
Hours passed.
The rain slowed down, but the emptiness inside her only grew.
Finally, with tired steps, Aria reached her home.
She quietly entered her room, closed the door, and leaned against it.
Silence.
Her phone buzzed slightly.
For a second, her heart jumped.
"Kael…?"
She quickly picked it up.
But…
It was just a random notification.
Her hands slowly dropped.
A tear slipped down her cheek again.
"So… this is really the end…" she whispered.
That night, sleep never came.
She kept staring at the ceiling, her eyes dry but her heart still aching.
Questions filled her mind.
Was I not enough?
Did he ever really love me?
Was everything just a lie?
No answers.
Only silence.
The next morning…
Sunlight entered her room, but it didn't feel warm.
Aria stood in front of the mirror.
Her eyes were swollen.
Her face looked pale.
But something had changed.
The innocence in her eyes… was gone.
In its place, there was pain.
And slowly… strength.
She touched her reflection gently.
"I won't beg for someone who chose to leave me," she said softly.
Her voice was weak… but firm.
"I won't cry for someone who didn't value me."
A deep breath.
"This is the last time."
Days passed.
Life slowly started moving again.
But not the same way.
Aria stopped checking her phone every minute.
She stopped waiting.
She stopped hoping.
Kael didn't call.
Didn't text.
Didn't come back.
As if she had never existed in his life.
And that truth hurt more than the breakup itself.
One quiet evening, Aria sat alone in a small café.
A cup of coffee rested in front of her, untouched.
Her eyes were lost somewhere far away.
In memories she was trying to forget.
"Excuse me… is this seat taken?"
A gentle voice broke her thoughts.
Aria looked up.
A stranger stood there.
Tall, calm, with soft eyes that held no judgment.
For a moment… she just stared
