The demons instantly jumped back in fear, their expressions filled with disbelief as they stared at Reiji.
"Just who in the hell are you?" the demons asked in unison.
Reiji didn't answer. His figure moved instantly, appearing behind them before either demon could even sense his presence. In the next moment, their world seemed to turn upside down as they saw their own bodies still standing before them, completely separated from their heads.
"When did he move?"
Thud!
Both heads landed on the floor and rolled to a stop, leaving trails of blood behind them. Reiji stared at the two heads and immediately knew they weren't truly dead yet, because the system hadn't given him any notification confirming their deaths.
'Will burning them work?' Reiji wondered inwardly as he felt a strange sensation rising from his chest. It was both hot and cold at the same time, an unfamiliar flame seemingly waiting to burst out of him.
'This must be a dragon's flame. There's no harm in trying it out.'
