In the blink of an eye, the world turned upside down.
The scenery around Su Mu morphed from a luxurious hotel room into a dim, suffocating dungeon. The soft, warm bodies he remembered beside him were replaced by filthy, foul-smelling prisoners huddled in the dark.
Before he could even process the confusion, a sharp noise shattered the silence.
Clang!
A metal baton smashed against the iron bars. Su Mu violently jumped, his body trembling instinctively. This physical vessel harbored a deep, conditioned terror of that specific sound.
Moments later, a group of hulking thugs stepped out from the shadows, carelessly shoving bowls of murky, viscous slop into the metal cages.
When they reached Su Mu's cell, one of the thugs sneered.
"Huh. Boss, this little yellow monkey is actually still breathing. Cockroach really just won't die."
The leader—a bald man covered in grotesque tattoos—cast a cold, indifferent glance at Su Mu before issuing a warning.
"Don't touch him for now. The trading window is coming up. If he dies, the organs won't be fresh, and the buyer will tank the price."
"Yeah, yeah, I got it..."
The underling quickly bowed and scraped to his boss. But as he turned back, he glared viciously at Su Mu, absentmindedly rubbing a bandaged bite wound on his hand. He gritted his teeth. "Lucky brat..."

Organ trafficking!
As their footsteps faded down the corridor, those two words echoed in Su Mu's mind. Suddenly, a piercing agony ripped through his skull as fragmented memories violently merged with his consciousness.
The original owner of this body was also named Su Mu. He had been an ordinary college student until a month ago, when a sudden fire broke out. In a moment of desperation, his latent mutant X-gene awakened, allowing him to escape the inferno completely unscathed.
But surviving the disaster didn't bring him any luck. Days later, his parents discovered his mutant abilities and, paralyzed by prejudice and fear, disowned him, throwing him out onto the streets.
Shortly after, he found himself hunted by a mysterious organization, only to be accidentally swept up and kidnapped by a Hell's Kitchen human trafficking ring, ending up locked in this nameless underground dungeon.
That thug earlier—the one who called him a monkey—was the very man who had captured him. During the struggle, Su Mu had clamped his jaws down so hard he nearly tore a chunk of flesh right off the thug's hand.
Because of that little stunt, the thug made sure to take "special care" of him.
Su Mu glanced beneath his tattered shirt. His skin was marred with horrific, festering wounds that still oozed blood. It was obvious the original host had succumbed to these infections and died just moments before his arrival.
But that wasn't even the worst of it. In exactly one week, this gang would trade with another underground syndicate. Su Mu and the rest of the "merchandise" would be butchered like livestock to harvest their organs.
Worse still, this was a world he was intimately familiar with. Mutants, Stark Industries... this was the notoriously deadly Marvel Universe!
Even if he miraculously survived the organ harvesters, how the hell was he supposed to survive the universal coin-flip of Thanos' snap down the line? Su Mu had no intention of betting his life on a 50/50 probability!
And was this the MCU or the comic universe? If it was the movies, there was a sliver of a chance to struggle. If it was the comics...
A cold shiver ran down Su Mu's spine.
As for the original host's mutant power... well, if it were actually strong, he wouldn't be rotting in a human trafficker's cage.
His power was Energy Absorption. Yes, the exact same ability as Sebastian Shaw, the Black King. But after the initial explosive awakening driven by extreme emotion, the power's intensity plummeted drastically. Right now, he couldn't even fully absorb the kinetic energy of a simple punch, let alone bullets or complex mutant abilities.
What good was such a pathetic, crippled power?
A suffocating wave of despair washed over Su Mu. To transmigrate just to die in a cage? He had been living a perfectly good life in his previous world!
Fueled by an intense, burning unwillingness to accept his fate, a clear, mechanical chime suddenly rang directly in his mind.

Instantly, Su Mu felt a transcendental shift in his perception. His field of vision expanded into a flawless 360-degree spherical perspective. His eyesight sharpened to a terrifying degree, allowing him to clearly track individual specks of dust floating through the stagnant air.
Even more bizarre, glowing blue conceptual lines began weaving through his vision. He traced the lines backward, finding their source at a dim, flickering wall lamp behind him.
It was electricity. This was the true power of the Six Eyes—the ability to perceive the flow and nature of all energy.
Testing his new visual prowess, a brilliant, arrogant smile crept onto Su Mu's face. His very first template was the strongest modern sorcerer, Gojo Satoru!
Even though the title of "The Strongest" had taken a bit of a meme-status hit after he got famously split into 2.5-jo Satoru, it didn't change the absolute fact that he was the ceiling of the Jujutsu Kaisen universe.
With Gojo's abilities—even just a fraction of them—breaking out of this hellhole would be a joke. Most importantly... Gojo's powers were just overwhelmingly cool.
Armed with the System, Su Mu's absolute confidence returned. But first things first: escaping the cell.
Just then, the heavy thud of combat boots approached. Jim, the thug from earlier, sauntered back to Su Mu's cage. He flashed a sadistic, yellow-toothed grin.
"Hey there, little yellow monkey. Didn't expect you to be so damn stubborn. I'll let you breathe for one more night. Tomorrow, I'm going to entertain you properly."
With that, Jim unzipped his pants and proceeded to piss directly into the bowl of slop left on the floor.
He looked up, expecting anger, tears, or despair. Instead, he met Su Mu's crystalline eyes. The boy was looking at him with an absolute, chilling indifference.
It was the look of a god staring at a dead insect.
Infuriated by the gaze, and with the bite wound on his hand throbbing painfully, Jim wanted nothing more than to bash the kid's skull in. But remembering the Boss's strict orders, he forced himself to hold back. Spitting a final curse, he turned and left.
Su Mu quietly watched Jim's retreating back, committing the man's energy signature to memory before looking away.
He glanced down at the puddle of warm, yellow liquid mixing into the putrid porridge. Though it hadn't splashed onto him, he still shifted a few inches back. He made a silent promise: Oh, I will definitely make sure to entertain you tomorrow, too.
Despite his body starving for calories, Su Mu wasn't about to touch that filth. Instead, he turned his attention entirely to his newfound abilities.
He subtly shifted his position, using his body to completely obscure the dim wall lamp behind him. Masking the sound with a loud, hacking cough, he applied pressure and shattered the glass bulb.
He quickly hid a shard of glass up his sleeve. Then, he carefully reached out, pressing his bare finger directly against the exposed, live filament.
Success or failure hinged on this very moment!
With the awakening of the Six Eyes, he could feel a hyper-precise control over his innate mutant ability. His previously crippled Energy Absorption began to mutate under the guidance of the Six Eyes' infinite calculation.
As his flesh touched the live wire, the Six Eyes perfectly governed the intake of raw voltage and heat. A gentle, numbing sensation washed over him, and a flurry of notifications cascaded across his vision.
