Chapter 1 - reborn as pangu

You awaken. Not in a cradle or a battlefield this time. No throne, no spear, no ravens whispering secrets.Just pressure.Immense, suffocating, cosmic pressure inside a vast, swirling egg of chaos — a primordial black shell containing yin and yang, light and heavy, order and disorder all mixed in endless turmoil. You are Pangu, the giant creator, reborn with your full archetypal essence dropped into the heart of Greek mythology's own primordial void. The egg is not native to this cosmos. It is an anomaly — a foreign creation myth colliding with the Greek one. Chaos (the Greek gaping chasm) roils around the egg, curious, hungry, probing. Gaia has only just begun to emerge as the broad-breasted Earth. Uranus is a faint potential in the upper mists. Nyx and Erebus weave darkness. Eros pulses faintly. No Titans yet. No Olympians. The world is still unformed, and you are about to force it into shape.A deep, rumbling awareness fills you — your modern memories intact alongside the instinctive knowledge of the Pangu legend:You slept 18,000 years in the egg (time is meaningless here; it could be moments or eons).

You hold a massive axe (or chisel/hammer in some tellings) forged from the chaos itself.

Your body is colossal, hairy, primal — a giant beyond mortal scale, growing stronger the more you act.

Pangu Template Powers (Adapted to Greek Cosmos):Cosmic Separation: With one swing of your axe, you can cleave yin from yang, heavy from light, earth from sky. In Greek terms, this could forcibly separate Gaia from the upper realms, create vast distances between concepts, or split primordial forces (e.g., dividing light from darkness more dramatically than Nyx and Hemera ever would).

World-Bearing Strength: You can stand between sky and earth, pushing them apart indefinitely. As you grow taller each "day," so do the heavens and the ground. This grants god-like physical might that could dwarf early Titans or even challenge later Olympians in raw power.

Sacrificial Creation: When (or if) you eventually "die" or expend yourself, your body becomes the world — breath to wind and clouds, blood to rivers and seas, eyes to sun and moon, voice to thunder, bones to mountains, hair to forests, limbs to cardinal directions. In a Greek context, this could overwrite or supplement Gaia's domain, creating hybrid geography (mountains that feel alive, rivers with primordial awareness) or even new conceptual entities.

Growth & Durability: You grow continuously while holding the separation. Near-invulnerability to early primordial forces; you can shape the land with your axe, carving valleys, raising peaks.

Primordial Authority: As the ultimate creator giant, you have instinctive command over formation and order from chaos. Potential to birth lesser beings from your essence or sweat (like the first humans in some Pangu variants).

Risks & Complications:You are foreign. Greek primordials (especially Gaia and the emerging Fates/Moirai) may see you as a disruptive intruder or a tool to be used/absorbed. If you separate sky and earth too violently, you might accelerate or derail the standard succession (Uranus → Cronus → Zeus).

The egg's appearance could attract Nyx, Tartarus, or Eros immediately.

Overuse of your power risks exhausting yourself into the "death/transformation" phase early, turning you into the landscape before you can enjoy godhood.

Later gods (Zeus especially) might view the resulting world as partly "yours" and resent the foreign giant who shaped it.

Starting Moment: The Egg Cracks (Primordial Dawn)The shell trembles. Cracks spiderweb across it from your stirring. Light and heavy elements swirl chaotically inside. You feel the axe heavy in your grip. With a roar that shakes the void, you swing.CRACK.The egg splits. Lighter elements surge upward — becoming the vault of the sky (perhaps blending with Uranus's domain or pushing him into existence more forcefully). Heavier elements sink — forming the solid earth (enhancing or rivaling Gaia's emergence). You plant your feet on the new ground and push upward with your shoulders and arms, head pressing against the rising sky.The separation begins.Gaia stirs beneath you, possibly awakening fully because of your act or reacting with surprise/anger at this giant forcing order so abruptly. Uranus coalesces above, the starry sky solidifying faster than in the original Greek myth.Your ravens? No — this template has none. But faint echoes of wind (your future breath) and distant thunder (your voice) already hint at what you could become.Huginn and Muninn are absent; instead, you sense the potential for new companions — perhaps spirits born from your sweat or the first living things crawling from the mud you create.Possible First Actions (Your Legend as the Foreign Creator Giant):Full Separation Push: Commit to the classic Pangu role. Stand and grow for "18,000 years" (however long that feels in elastic primordial time), steadily expanding the cosmos. Shape mountains and rivers with your axe as you go. Risk: Exhaustion leads to your body becoming the world prematurely, making you a passive landscape that Greek gods later claim or build upon.

Alliance or Bargain: Once Gaia fully manifests, speak to her (your voice like thunder). Offer to stabilize the separation in exchange for domain, worship, or alliance. Perhaps become a consort or co-creator, blending Chinese giant myth with Greek earth mother.

Aggressive Shaping: Use the axe wildly — carve out future landmarks (a mountain that will one day be Olympus? A sea that foreshadows the Mediterranean?). Introduce concepts like "seasons" or "directions" early.

Observe & Adapt: Hold the sky just enough to stabilize, then shrink or shapeshift to explore. Wander as a colossal but mobile giant, observing Nyx, Tartarus, and other primordials before the Titans arrive. Use your meta-knowledge to prepare for the Titanomachy or insert yourself as a wildcard.

Chaos Exploitation: Instead of fully ordering everything, selectively separate forces — create pockets of pure order amid chaos, or birth hybrid beings (proto-humans, new monsters, or even early demigods with giant blood).

The Greek cosmos was never meant to have a single giant axe-wielding creator who turns his corpse into the world. Now it does. You are the Anomalous Pangu — the primordial giant whose swing might rewrite the entire succession of gods, accelerate the birth of the world, or leave a permanent foreign imprint on Greek geography and mythology. The sky rises another measure. The earth thickens beneath your feet. Gaia's voice (or presence) brushes against you like living stone. What do you do, mighty separator of heaven and earth?Swing again to accelerate the process?

Call out to Gaia or Uranus directly?

Focus on shaping a specific part of the new world first (mountains, seas, a personal domain)?

Try to delay your "death" phase and establish yourself as an active god?

Or something bolder — attempt to birth the first mortals early, or challenge the emerging Fates?

The void echoes with the sound of your axe. The myths of Greece are about to gain a very large, very foreign chapter.Your move, Creator Giant.
