Chapter 3 - The Girl Who Sees

One morning, Asiya woke up with a sudden jolt.

Without wasting a single moment, she got out of bed and ran barefoot to her father.

"Dad…!"

Her voice was trembling.

Lei Feng immediately lowered his newspaper and looked at her, startled by the fear in her tone.

"What happened, princess?"

Asiya grabbed his hand tightly, her fingers cold and slightly shaking.

"Please don't go out with the car this afternoon… please!"

There was fear in her eyes, but it was not the kind of fear a child imagines. It was deeper, heavier, as if she had already seen something terrible.

Lei Feng tried to laugh it off at first.

"You've started again with this?"

But the words stopped midway.

He noticed her eyes.

There was no confusion, no childish imagination—only certainty.

His chest tightened slightly.

"What did you see?" he asked softly.

Asiya stayed silent for a few seconds, as if trying to gather her thoughts.

Then she whispered, "The road… people… blood… and your car."

She could not finish the sentence.

Lei did not ask anything further.

That afternoon, he quietly canceled all his plans.

By evening, everything changed.

Lei Feng received a phone call that made his face lose all color.

"What are you saying…?"

His hand trembled as he listened.

The road he was supposed to take that day had become the site of a devastating accident. A truck had lost its brakes and crushed several cars in its path.

Just a short while ago, he was meant to be there.

Slowly, he lowered the phone and turned his gaze toward Asiya.

She stood silently in the corner.

A seven-year-old child.

But at that moment, she no longer felt like one.

That day, Lei Feng understood that his daughter was not just his beloved princess.

She possessed a power that could save lives.

And that same power could one day place her in grave danger.

Present Day

Even now, the memory made Lei Feng uneasy.

"I am afraid, Asiya," he said, his voice heavy with concern. "What if someone hurts you because of this power? What if they try to take you away?"

Before he could finish, Asiya stepped forward and hugged him gently.

"Dad…"

Her voice was soft and reassuring.

"Don't worry. Nothing will happen to me."

She smiled faintly.

"I am your daughter, after all. Remember?"

Lei Feng remained silent.

Asiya pulled back slightly and looked into his eyes.

"I only want to help people. If I can see things before they happen and prevent them, then how can that be wrong?"

Her voice carried quiet determination.

"Please, Dad… don't stop me."

After a long pause, Lei Feng held her more tightly.

There was still fear in his heart, but beneath it, there was also pride.

Because he knew that his daughter was not meant to live an ordinary life.

She was someone who could stand as light even in the darkest storms.

After a moment, Lei Feng spoke again.

"Gu Chen told me something today," he said slowly.

Asiya looked at him calmly.

"He said that you might be able to help Gu Yan."

For a brief moment, the atmosphere grew still.

Asiya was not surprised. She simply nodded.

"Yes, I can."

Her answer came without hesitation.

Lei Feng frowned slightly.

"You know who he is, right?"

"Gu Yan is the only son of my friend ,Gu Chen .About a year ago Gu Yan suddenly fell into a coma. No doctor and no test has been able to explain why."

The room fell silent.

"Then how do you know you can help him?"Lei Feng stared at her, confused.

Asiya met his gaze directly.

"Because this is not an illness, Dad."

A cold sensation seemed to pass through the room.

Lei Feng's heartbeat quickened.

"What do you mean?"

Asiya stepped forward and spoke in a lower voice.

"His body is asleep, but his mind is not."

She paused briefly before continuing.

"He is trapped."

Lei Feng's voice shook slightly.

"Where is he trapped?"

Asiya lowered her eyes.

"Somewhere that is not entirely part of this world."

The air felt heavier.

Lei Feng struggled to process her words.

"Can you bring him back?" he asked.

Asiya looked up again.

"I can," she said quietly. "But it will not be easy."

Lei Feng swallowed.

"What do you need to do?"

Asiya hesitated for a moment before answering.

"I have to go to him… to wherever he is."

Lei Feng immediately shook his head.

"No, Asiya. This is not a game. You don't understand how dangerous this could be—"

"I understand, Dad," she interrupted gently.

"I understand everything."

She held his hand softly.

"If I do not go, he may never come back."

Silence filled the room once again.

Lei Feng closed his eyes, torn between fear as a father and the chance to save a life.

Finally, he opened them and spoke.

"Alright. But you will not go alone."

A faint smile appeared on Asiya's face.

"I am never alone, Dad," she said quietly, glancing toward the window.

"They are always with me."

A cold breeze passed through the room, making Lei Feng uneasy.

At that moment, he realized that this path was not just dangerous.

It was leading toward something unknown… something that perhaps should never be disturbed.

"Brother, give me what I asked for."

Jun silently went into his room and returned a few moments later with something wrapped in cloth.

"Here," he said.

Asiya carefully unwrapped it.

Inside was a strange black stone. It was neither shiny nor dull, but it felt unusual, as if it absorbed the light around it.

The moment she touched it, a faint tremor ran through her body.

"What is this…?" she whispered.

Lei Jun smiled slightly.

"I found it in an antique shop. It was not easy to get. I had a feeling it was meant for you."

Asiya held the stone tightly, and a determined expression appeared on her face.

She could sense that this was not an ordinary object.

It carried something unknown.

Something powerful.

She walked up to her father.

"Mom-Dad, please bless me so I can succeed."

Lei Feng looked at her for a long moment.

His eyes softened, though they were filled with emotion.

"Come back victorious," he said quietly.

"I am coming with you," Jun said firmly.

Asiya looked at him and nodded.

"Alright. Let's go."

They left together.

The car drove past the crowded city and slowly entered a quieter, more isolated area.

The atmosphere felt different.

Heavier.

Unsettling.

Finally, they stopped in front of a massive iron gate.

It opened slowly with a harsh, creaking sound.

Inside, Gu Chen and his wife were waiting.

They greeted them with polite smiles, but their eyes held a strange seriousness.

"Come," Uncle Gu said.

He led them inside through long, dimly lit corridors.

At the end, they stopped in front of a half-open door.

A cold, unnatural wind flowed out from inside.

"This is Yan's room," Shankar said quietly.

Asiya stared at the doorway.

The black stone in her hand suddenly grew warm.

At that moment, she understood.

This was not just a rescue.

This was the beginning of a battle.
