The drive back to Min-woo's apartment was quieter than the ride out had been, the easy warmth of the afternoon settling into something softer, more careful, neither of them in any particular hurry to fill the silence.
"Today was really nice," Min-woo said eventually, watching the streetlights slide past the window. "You didn't have to go through all that trouble."
"I wanted to." Tae-hyun's hands stayed loose on the wheel, though something in his posture had gone slightly stiffer than it had been all evening. "I like doing things for you. It's not trouble."
"Still. Renting out a whole clearing, string lights, staff bribed into secrecy." Min-woo huffed a soft laugh. "That's not exactly a low-effort date."
"You're worth the effort."
