"I couldn't stop thinking about you," Do-hyun said, still seated across from the desk, phone now resting face-down on his knee. "Not after that recording. And now this message, whoever sent it—it just confirmed what I already suspected. That maybe I wasn't wrong to hope."
Jihan sat down slowly behind his desk, putting the width of it between them deliberately. "Do-hyun, I told you already. I'm with someone."
"I know what you told me." Do-hyun leaned forward slightly, earnest in a way that made Jihan's chest tighten with something closer to dread than warmth now. "But someone sent me that message for a reason. Someone who knows you well enough to know you still say my name when you're drunk. That's not nothing, Jihan."
