The place seemed to be secluded from the outside world. With all the forest and mills surrounding the place from all angles. The landscape seemed to be built for that specific reason. To keep everyone in; and outsiders out.
The sky was a shade of red once again, and the wind was pretty strong on that day for some reason. A little while away, through the long narrow pathway; there was also this absolutely huge complex right in front of the two. It looked to be around 50 times as big as Lukas' old high school. It had a giant delta symbol right above the main entrance, with the walls completely contrasting it with the grayscale. The place honestly looked super scary, but also like a boarding school in a way.
"W-where a-are we…?" Lukas whispers. Still in shock after what he is seeing.
"I just told you!" The guy kept spitting everywhere and anywhere. "You'll be staying here until you inevitably die!" he said with a straight face, almost like this is normal.
Lukas and Drew both turn their heads to face each other. They mouthed: What?! While having their jaws basically on the floor. While they were doing that, another truck came through, parking right next to theirs. A bunch of other people came out of the other truck's tailgate. Looking just as confused as Lukas and Drew. Surprisingly though, none of them had a bag over their body. Which seemed kind of unfair. Some guys who were wearing the same uniform as the big boy, were pushing the transports along, not letting them enjoy the view like for Lukas.
"Alright you shit-stains!" The big boy stood right in front of both of them. In some sort of triangle formation. "Let's get a move-on!" spit came flying onto Lukas' face, which he wiped off. This is the first time Lukas and Drew realised that their hands weren't tied anymore. The big guy put his hand on both of their backs, and moved them along the narrow walkway. Lukas counted all the poppies on either side of said walkway. Slowing down a little bit, just to get pushed forward once again.
As soon as they got close enough to the main entrance, the guy pushed them forward, ordering them to open the door. Once they do, they get thrown inside by the big guy, and moved over to a holding area. Lukas and Drew were placed in separate rooms that were right next to each other. Lukas was in the left room, and Drew was in the right.
Lukas' room only had a singular chair, placed in the middle of the room, the walls were covered in who-knows-what. No windows were present also, with the only light coming from a flickering light bulb in the center of the ceiling.
He walked up to the chair, which seemed to have some sort of liquid on it; and he tried to lift it up by one side and let it pour off. That didn't work though, because of the fact that the chair was bolted down, he tried his hardest to somehow rip it out of the ground, but it wouldn't budge. So he just decided to stand in the fall right corner, and hopefully not touch anything else in this room. He looked at the hand that touched the chair, and there seemed to be rust all over his palm. He was so disgusted, he started to violently rub it onto his pants, desperately wanting it off of his skin.
He was rubbing his hands on his pants frantically, until around five guards with full face masks walked in and ordered him to sit down. Lukas shook his head no.
"CHAIR. NOW!" Two of the officers ran over and tightly grabbed Lukas by the arms. Causing him to wince in pain. They carried him by his arms towards the chair, and slammed his ass onto the thing. Lukas felt the strange liquid seep through his pants, and feel his skin. On the inside he was crying, but it was not like he could do anything about it. The two guards were holding him down by the shoulders; as the other three stood right in front of his point of view.
The guy in the little git was really close to him, almost touching Lukas' nose with his own. His breath was horrible, making Lukas gag and cough.
"HEY! LISTEN UP FUCKTOY!" Lukas' ear was about to get deaf with how loud he was screaming. "YOU'RE GONNA LISTEN, AND YOU'RE GONNA BEHAVE YOURSELF!" his breath was getting so much worse, every time he opened his mouth. All the spit particles landing on Lukas' face were pissing him off so much, he had to restrain every bone in his body so that he wouldn't get beaten; or worse.
Lukas nodded his head stiffly, but made sure it didn't look to forced.
The guard on the right of him, presses down hard on Lukas' shoulder, making him yelp in pain from the sharp movement. The main guy covers Lukas' mouth with both hands, and whispers: "screaming also doesn't work here…" which Lukas hoped he didn't mean in a sensual way.
"OK YOU LITTLE SHIT!" The guy removes his hands, and backs away a couple steps. "YOU WILL BE WORKING FROM SUNRISE TO SUNSET! YOU ONLY HAVE 5 BREAKS FOR EMERGENCIES! IF YOU GET INJURED IN ANY WAY, WE WILL KILL YOU! IF YOU TRY TO ESCAPE, WE WILL KILL YOU! AND IF YOU COMPLAIN TO ANY OF US ABOUT ANYTHING, WE. WILL. KILL. YOU!! GOT THAT?!" Lukas' face was so wet from the spit, he nodded his head at the very most.
"Alright!" his voice got a lot quieter. "Get up, and come with us!" he was forcefully pushed upwards, almost losing his balance in the process. He was escorted out of the room, and they all turned right down the hall. Lukas noticed that the door to the room that Drew was in was open, so he hoped that he had already gone wherever they were taking him.
It took them a little bit before making it over to where they would be sleeping. It honestly reminded Lukas of how the station was.
They all made it to this locked door that was made of straight metal. It looked like some sort of vault door to him. Some other guards immediately opened it and walked out, allowing his escorts to just walk in.
"You take the very right bunk beds!" the main guy pointed over to the far right corner, where Drew was laying there, and doing nothing. Lukas walked himself over to the bunk bed above him, and hopped right in sitting cross-cross applesauce. Drew didn't say a word to him. He just laid there, staring at the back of Lukas' bunk bed, in what he assumed to be some sort of self imposed trance.
"Alright! You stay there for two hours! Exactly when that alarm goes off!" he points towards the center of the ceiling, where some big ass alarm was hanging. "You go through the right side of the hallway single file! Then once you're outside, you will be given your task for the day! You got that?!" he asked.
Lukas gave a thumbs up.
"OK!" The guy slams the door shut, and locks it from the outside. Lukas finally lays his back on the uncomfortable mattress, and lets out a deep sigh. Not knowing what he should do next. He generally decides to let Drew be left alone, until he's at least ready to talk about all of what just happened.
