Viktor was starting to regain consciousness. He felt like he was asleep for 4 hours. His eyes were crusty, his mouth was dry, and his hands felt flaky. He tried to move his hands to lick them until they were moist; but when he tried, they wouldn't budge. They were in fact, stuck behind his back, without anything he could do about it.
His eyes fully opened when he realised this fact. He tried to look around the room to get a grasp on the moment, but the room that he was in was just way too dark for him to see anything.
He tried to also move his legs around, or move his torso; but nothing would go anywhere. Meaning that he was probably tied down to something at the moment. His vision slowly adjusted more and more, the longer he had his eyes open. Ne could finally make out stuff within the room. For example: the piles of stuff, stacked onto themselves, the dust in the air, and the humanoid figure standing two feet in front of him menacingly.
He was scared shit-less when he saw the humanoid. His soul left his body at that point.
The thing took a single step forward, making Viktor shit his pants. He thought for a second, that maybe the body he'd been working on, suddenly came back to life and was about to take revenge. Then he thought for more seconds and realised that was stupid.
"Hey there…" A calm, and quiet voice came from 2 feet in front of him. "Looks like you're awake…" The thing got closer by an inch. "Listen… this might sound crazy… but I'm gonna need your help…" The humanoid told him. Which made Viktor, weirdly curious. His eyes adjusted better and he could make out a lot more things now. Like the fact that there were cobwebs all over the place, and creepy-crawlies were running around to who-knows-where. He also got to see who this person could be, and he was pissed when he noticed.
"By the look on your face… it seems you recognize me…?" Drew asked.
"Éttu skít" Viktor swore at him, and spat on the ground.
"Y'know, probably shouldn't be saying whatever you said to me… since, I whooped your ass and all…" Drew taunted him, while having a little on his face doing so. "All you have to do… is say yes to helping me… and maybe I would make you atone for your wrong doings…" Drew all the sudden got super serious with his speech. Catching Viktor off guard a bit. He also slowly pulled out the scalpel, and saw that he had, behind his back. Viktor snarled and looked down, not wanting to go along with this guy.
"Ugh… fucking hell! Sure! Why not!" Viktor reluctantly accepted. "Now hurry up and untie me already!" Drew nodded his head, and walked over to him. While walking behind where Viktor sat, Drew wondered if he had gotten everything off of him or not. Drew took one big slash at the ropes tying his hands together, and it came apart instantly. He then went back around and slashed at his legs, which were the came. Finally, he sawed through the ropes near his stomach gently, until they snapped off on their own. Viktor finally got to stand up, and he stretched a bit, and checked his pockets.
"H-hey! Where's my tools?!" he frantically patted down his entire body, thinking that maybe he had just misplaced them.
"Oh yeah those things! I took them out and hid them so you couldn't pull a fast one on me!" Drew explained. Viktor's hand clenched when he heard the atrocity that this guy just said. He kept his rage to a minimum, only saying: "Farðu til helvítis…" quietly before walking past Drew, and out of the room.
He didn't mind their arrangement that they were in, he could make sure that this guy wouldn't do anything stretchy since he was behind him. Viktor was pretty fast when walking, the fastest he's ever seen someone walk. So it was kind of hard and tiring to try and keep up. Viktor looked back at him, and wondered why he was taking so long to catch up. I mean, he didn't have all day here. He hopefully had more bodies to look at. The hallways were just as confusing as ever, but at this point, Viktor has had them memorised so well, he could probably make a map straight from memory.
Drew was just astonished at how big this palace was. He couldn't even imagine having to go through all of this everyday.
"Alright, so… what that hell do you want me to do…?" Viktor asked what we were all thinking.
"Do you happen to know where Stancers get taken away too?"
"You mean Sálfræðilegur Dauðaherbergi?"
"M-maybe?" Drew shrugs his shoulders, having no clue what he just said.
"Because it's right up over there…" Viktor points forward, and to the right. Signaling where that room might be located.
Drew started to speed up, and passed Viktor. Which made him have to match his speed also. It took them both no time to get to the end of the hallway at that rate, which just left the fork in the road. Viktor took a hard right, and Drew followed. And after around 10 more seconds, they make it to this big sealed door that had the name that Viktor just said in big bold letters right above it.
"There we are… are ya happy now?" Viktor scowled at him, but Drew just with his left hand to shit the fuck up for a second. "How do you… open the thing?" Drew asked, hoping that he knew something at least.
"No clue…" Drew took everything back. "My brother would probably know though… but he wouldn't just let anyone open it for any reason…"
"Ask him!" Drew pleaded with him.
"Why would I—"
"Because I will make you life a living FUCKING hell if you don't list to me… alright?" Drew whispered those exact words into Viktor's ear. Which made him sigh, and nod his head in agreement. "Fine! Djöfulsins helvíti… You are such a goddamn nuisance…" Viktor motions him to follow him down the other direction that they went. Which Drew obliges immediately. Not noticing that there was someone who spotted the two, farther in said hallway. They duck behind something before they could be caught.
