"How, DARE you say I'm the bad guy here…!" Anna was pissed at what this monstrous murderer just said to her. She couldn't even believe her ears. Izzy was so out of the loop though, since she just woke back up. The only thing that made sense in her mind, was to keep holding on for dear life.
Lukas threw another punch into her skull, which sent vibrations throughout her whole body. "You're the one actually killing people…" He said with a monotone, sort of robotic voice. His mind was completely out of it at this point.
"They were traitors too… for letting someone like that be left alive…" Anna said.
*PUNCH!
Another one went flying at her jaw this time, she managed to wiggle her way out finally though, even with Izzy's crazy grip strength. With her dodging the punch, she returned with some jabs into his stomach in fast succession. Blood and vomit came out of Lukas' mouth and nose almost immediately. With him having to jump back a little bit, and wipe off the mess of his face with his wrist.
Izzy helped Lukas, with a clean punch into her chest, the impact broke her ribs a little bit, and sent ripples throughout her body again. Anna stumbled back away from Izzy the absolute beast; and now the three of them were all in a triangle formation, with Lukas and Izzy only looking at her.
They both ganged up on her, with Lukas taking the left side, and Izzy taking the right. With then now beating the living shit out of her, each punch swapped between the two rhythmically. Anna didn't know what to do, with her getting clobbered on both sides, to the point of losing her hearing a little bit. Blood was starting to fly around all over the place; and time was running out on her life. Lukas then, took a step back, and winded up a really hard punch, directly into her left eye socket. She was sent flying to the right, where Lukas would run over to her, and get on top of her, before beating the living shit out of her.
"Y-you should've watched your mouth when you had the chance!" Lukas yelled. "Now you have to face the consequences!"
Anna tried to say something, but she was too busty choking on her own blood to make coherent sounds at the moment. Some of her teeth were also starting to fall out, and one almost lodged itself into her esophagus, luckily it didn't.
"W-what are you doing?!" Izzy pulled Lukas off of her.
"She killed… hundreds of people… she deserves this…" Lukas reminded her.
"Weren't you the one calling her a hypocrite for going on about the same thing?!" Izzy was making some good points. "She murdered hundreds of innocent people, that had nothing to do with her bullshit! I'm just returning the favour…" Lukas was going to continue beating the hell out of her, but she already had gotten away whilst they were arguing.
"Look, what you DID!!!" Lukas was so pissed off. "We could've murdered her, or at least get some intel on what's going on with her!" Izzy was in complete shock at the personality change that Lukas was showcasing. She couldn't believe her eyes, nor her ears. Lukas then realised what he was doing, and softened himself before saying quietly: "sorry…" while backing away a little bit.
Izzy was a little surprised, but she also composed herself and said: "it's all good man…"
Ethan then comes up to the both of them with Braxton in hand. He was passed out for god knows what reason. "You guys ok?!" Ethan frantically asks whilst checking Lukas' arm; for some reason skipping Izzy's. "Where'd Anna go?!" he looked around for some sort of trace that she would've left, but sadly it was almost like she wasn't even there. "She got away… it was my fault…" Izzy apologizes. "Oh! It's okay ma'am! At least they aren't here anymore…" he looks around at the wreckage and burning surrounding them.
"Alright, let's leave!" Ethan, with Braxton in his arms, begins to walk back the same way they came. Lukas and Izzy both follow from behind. The smell kind of reminded Lukas of a bonfire, even though he's never been to one a day in his life. He looks around at all the damaged stuff, wondering if anyone else was even still alive around here. That's when he noticed a little girl, sitting down and curled up with a scraped knee. He takes a little detour, and walks over to her with both of his arms stretched out to grab her. She tried to back away, and started crying from the sight of him. She probably saw the news that everyone else got. Lukas didn't care though, he grabbed her anyway, and put her onto his shoulders. She was scared at first, but then she stopped fighting it, and let him carry her.
"Whoa! Where'd she come from! Izzy didn't even notice Lukas leaving.
"I saw her, and didn't want to leave her there…" He simply states, in which Izzy could get behind 100%.
They continued walking, and walking, and walking just looking at all the carnage that Anna had caused. Ethan wasn't truly over the whole thing, but Lukas just wanted to get out of there. Same for Izzy. which meant the sight of non burnt material, with the now dark red sky felt all the more beautiful in their eyes.
They strolled through the field with a sort of emergency, wondering what was going on with Arthur and Charlie.
"You sure you're ok now…?" Arthur asks Charlie, who was sitting in their car with a blanket wrapped around her waist, and a warm drink in hand. She takes a really big sigh before taking a sip. "Y-yeah I guess… I'm fine now…" She says, which didn't sound reassuring in the slightest. Arthur and Drew were both outside the car, and looking down at her. Arthur still couldn't look at her face for long though, with him having his face beat red. Charlie notices, and pats the area around her, asking him calmly to sit next to him. He does so hesitantly, but also without another word. Drew watches this all go down, and is relieved that Arthur finally found someone like her again. It's been awhile since anything like this has happened.
"Hey! Drew! We're back!" Drew turns around to see Ethan and the rest of them finally back. He also noticed the little girl on Lukas's shoulders.
"Who's that…?" Drew points to her, which made her nervous.
"Dunno… she was crying and I saved her…" Lukas responded with.
"Um, okay… well lets all hop into the car I guess…" Drew looks at how their car is not going to fit all of them inside. "I think that Braxton and the girl are gonna have to sit in the truck though… is that okay?" Braxton slowly wakes up once more, and wonders how they got all the way back here.
"Ugh… hi everyone…! Who's that…?" Braxton slowly points at the girl.
"Who knows…" They all say.
"O-oh, okay…!" He says before falling back asleep, and Ethan opens up the trunk and throws him inside. Lukas also places the girl into the car door, before closing the thing, and locking it from the outside.
Ethan then goes over to the back seats, and sees that Arthur and Charlie are now snuggling with each other under the blanket. He was so giddy at the adorable sight, he squealed quietly before hopping back into the passengers seat. Drew also walks all the way to the driver's seat, and hops in whilst starting the car. The final one going in, is Lukas and Izzy, with both of them squeezing their bodies into the remaining seat.
Now that they all were in, Drew starts the car, and floors it out of there. Finally getting to go back to their home for once. They might return someday, but at this point, all of them have had enough of this place already.
